Puddle was lite a slick unexpected surprise to me. Must have had the car for a couple of weeks before they sere discovered.

But that's the kind of thing Ford does, so I've grown to know learn .

Thanks !

But the transatlantic flight kind of offsets the discount ... :giggle:

WD :like:
Believe it or not I've had many people shop while on holiday and pack their suitcases. But I'm sure you can get them on your side of the pond.

I decided to use mine this winter as well. I got sad looking at it sitting all winter last year. No real reason to worry about preserving a base GT in the first place, lol. RWD and snowy parking lots is a match made in heaven, and damnit I'm going to have my fill of it this winter. Still deciding which winter rubber I want to run though. I've had great luck with Bridgestone Blizzak in the past, but I might go with a more performance oriented compound like the Michelin Ice-X for this car.
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I recommend Pirelli Sottozero 3 very much. Have had it only for 1 yr (last year was the first winter for the Bullitt) and it did awesome.
Went with them after C&D had put the gen 2 of that tire on their long term Bullitt through the winter and the peeps at TireRack had only good things to say about Sottozero.

Truly plug and play? As is unbolt and swap? If so, that would be something I wouldn't mind doing. Where did you get the mirrors?

Literally unbolt and swap .wiring harness is a bit a pain to disconnect. I had to use that little glory hole on the door as a peep show to see what the heck I was doing .
I got the mirrors online from a California special take off that was in accident.

Haha! Thanks for the info. I always thought this was something that required custom wiring.

So did I..and I'm not sure if it had something to do my mustang having the 301A black accent package coming with color changing Ambient lighting. Certain things already existed in the building of the car. It was a gamble and I was willing to run my own wires. Glad I did not have to.

I like the handle on the battery too. It is definitely a heavy bugger to get out of the tray.

The starter shield was plug and play. I ordered the smallest size. The stainless ties (required 2) were for peace of mind.

The battery blanket needed trimming 3/8 shorter, plus cable clearance.

In hindsight I would have insulated the trans lines individually. I cut the long piece into 2 sections due to bends and brackets.

My car wouldn't start before the lunch break and gas run after 2 morning sessions at NCM on a hot day. I found these suggestions on the forum. About $100 in products. (Haven't put the floor and tunnel shield on my air box yet.)

I couldn't find my old school post-grabber strap so I had to improvise. I decided to leave them on just coz and they aren't seen under the cover.

Finally installed the Steeda clutch spring and WOW, it really is that much different. It is a tad harder to press, but so much easier to both be smooth and then also bang out tight shifts on the backroads. There were times when I felt like I forgot to drive a stick with the stock spring, but it's all good now!

I managed to bust off piece of the top plastic notch on the spring "bracket." Didn't have vice grips, so had to pop it off.

Since I was already on my knees leaning into the car, changed my cabin air filter. Not too dirty after 28k miles and 19 months of driving it.
