Codes B0070 & B007E

Was involved in a minor accident, knee air bag deployed. I replaced the knee air bag and tried to clear the codes in Forscan but I'm getting RCM codes B0070 & B007E. Looks like they're related to driver side seat belt pretensioner. If I replace the driver seat belt pretensioner device and clear the codes, should the air bag light go off?

So I replaced the entire seat belt and tensioner but I'm still getting code B0070:1A (circuit resistance below threshold). Anyone familiar with this code? I've tried to use Forscan to clear it but I've been told I may need to replace the restraint control module.

I ended up replacing the seatbelts, or partially. One from eBay is good, one, also from the same supplier, was the entirely wrong part number and the connector was wrong. I’ll be getting a replacement after the weekend.

In my case I had replaced the seat belt mechanism with a new one after a minor crash that triggered the seat belt pretensioners to fire and the knee airbag. After installing a new airbag and seatbelt it cleared some of the codes but I still got a B007E-1A. "Driver Seatbelt Pretensioner 'C' Deployment Control. Resistance to lower than expected."
This puzzled me for a bit. It refers to the pretensioner connected to the seatbelt retractor mechanism that is mounted near the rear speaker.

When I disconnected the connecter I then got an open circuit error. So I knew this was the connector, after reading about how these connectors work I reconnected it again but this time wiggled it around a bit once connected and even tapped it a few times with the handle of the screw driver. This was to make sure that the various plastic features inside the connector over came any friction to make sure they pushed down on the bottom of the inside of the mating connector to ensure they push on the metal clips that are designed to touch the two metal prongs causing a short when not connected.

Bottom line is if you see this error make sure the connectors are connected correctly and just them snapping together may not be enough.
Hope that helps, took me some hours to figure this out but in the end after a minor crash I was able to just replace one airbag, one seatbelt and two crash sensors to get rid of the airbag warning light. I didn't need to replace the RCM.
