I already have a 19 GT350 and love the car. What’s the general consensus on the CFTP, I guess a lot of guys here really want it? I’m not sure I like the wing and rear seat delete, etc. To me, a ‘21 GT500 with the Carbon Fiber handling package, AC seats, would be the superior car?
That‘s why I went with CFHP. Not superior but great all around for track, drag and street. Looks like it will be most rare too. Add painted stripes and it costs more than a CFTP with vinyl or no stripes. Haven’t seen any for sale but would expect CFHP ADMs being similar to CFTP.

For some of us, it's the principal to it. Just because you have money, doesn't mean you have to be stupid with it. As a buyer of a Boss 302 and GT350R, and now looking for a CFTP GT500, if a local dealer tries to add a ADM, it turns me off to every buying anything form them in the future...car, truck, whatever. They just lost future business that would surely net them more than the 5-10K they tried to screw me out of on the GT500 mark-up.

Agree with no furture business as well. The problem now is most dealers have marked up everything over MSRP in current market.

I don't tell people how to spend their money. I bought a CFTP, it's coming in a month and a half and will be driving the hell out of it. I'll drive it for 18 months sell it for more than I paid or minimal loss (and yes, I paid ADM) and drive my 296 GTB when it arrives. And do the same with a profit. Not sure I'd call that stupid. You can have all the principle in the world, the price is the price. It's market value, if you don't like it, it's simple, don't buy it.

You can keep telling yourself that you will be able to beat on your GT500 and then sell it for a "minimal" loss, but history (GT350R prices after the initial excitement wore off) isn't on our side. The current inflated market won't last....I guess that is just my opinion. I just sold a '15 Z/28 that I bought, drove, and tracked a little. I sold it for 151% of what I paid for it used in February of 2018.
......and I have a CFTP MSRP order in the works.

Yup, they are all slapping that shit around and retards are paying, even in the case on used GT350Rs too and that whole inflated market. I'll keep waiting.

That all said a dealer in AB, Canada has 3 CFTP on the lot and a 4th incoming. 15K over MSRP. They can sit there till they rot and I hope they do. The car is awesome, but when you're talking those bucks (as it's been beaten to death), there is alot of options out there and all the more when these sit for another year till next and we see more cars coming out (ie Z06).

I just tried to cut a deal on a 2021 that the dealer could order. They would not move off a 10k adm. I was willing to go to 5k on a straight out deal (no trade) and they said no.

I will just keep by 17 !

Yup, that is sad as all hell. Let them keep whatever ugly combo they end up ordering and looking pretty on the lot.

I paid a little ADM for my HEP 350, but it had the exact build options I wanted and they were literally impossible to find after they fully announced the end of the line. Today, I don't think I'd sell it for any price!

It took me while to realize this is another ADM hater thread disguised as a "Markup" thread. I told myself I was done with these but here I am. The Forum socialists are on a roll just remember
what I do with my money and what the seller does with their product is none of anyone's business
but the parties involved

i dont like dealer ADMs, but i do think there is a difference between those dealers that mark up $3-5k and those that mark up $50k - $70k. i dont lump them together. some of these dealerships really struggle to pay staff, keep lights on, and they get an allocation for a GT500 and they do a small ADM. ok, i can understand that. but this dealer not too far from me can :ontheloo:

Some have implied that this is a rich man's/woman's game and if you don't like dealers charging an ADM, you should maybe look at a Kia. I couldn't be farther from a Socialist, but simply refuse to pay an ADM....and I understand the concepts of supply and demand. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do with their money, I just like stirring the pot every once in a while!

So I stop by my ford dealer today and the GM ask me if i want to buy a Shelby? I say what color, he says rapid red and it should be here late Sept., I say lets look at the build and how much is the ADM . No ADM give me $500 deposit and it's yours! And you can't believe it is a CFTP car!!!!!
