Was yesterday but i broke my 3rd brake light trying to fix a leak... Today i get to wait for parts on my s550... :)
I'm guessing this is from the inside via headliner, don't think the light is accessible via outside?
You got a 2018. It leaks?

Today I attended the Ford National Mustang Show in Kankakee Illinois hosted by the Northern Mustang Coral and I won my class section.
@Roy_Steeda
Just curious - why do you think your car won?

I got it used so im only guessing - it looks like previous owner had stripes put on, and they took the 3rd brake light out to tuck the strip in but used the original seal and didnt redo it. I got all the bolts from inside off, let it bake in suin and used a heat gun but as i started first pry the corner cracked...

I could feel the light move if i wiggled it... Im pretty sure it was the brake light.

I just yesterday installed gap-filling sleeves in my rear OEM bushings. Photo shows it partially inserted. (Please - no "she said" comments.) Took me about 90 minutes.

Did it make any difference ? You used the BMR RH017 or Lethal Extreme Diff bolt kit ?

I love it Roy. I love that you’re from southern Illinois I grew up in Illinois for 40 years. The car looks great beautiful.

Looks great Roy. I love the way the car looks. Beautiful. Have you ever considered chrome or brushed silver wheels on that bad boy?
Thanks for the kind words - I originally had chrome and took them off for these GT350 OEM wheels. I may put them back on one day.

Well I was told that my paint and cars detail cleaning were the primary reasons. Also most cars in my class were highly modified, and I was the closest one to being stock other than my suspension.

got about half way to work and tpms alerted me to low air. Turned around and made it home just fine while monitoring tpms closely. Stupid HOA says no noise till 7am so had to wait before I could kick the compressor on. Caught a nail maybe Friday near the inside shoulder of drivers side rear. Pulled, reamed, plugged. Taking the rest of the day off to monitor my work. And ef work sometimes lol.

I haven't driven it anywhere yet.
No through bolt kit, just OEM bushings and bolts.

The whole idea is to take up the gap without going to aftermarket kits that may add NVH.

My car is 10spd that I take to the road course occasionally so I didn't see the need to go too extreme. However once I notice a split rubber bushing then I will add a puck style kit, likely KDT934.

I will post about this also in my Tech/Trans thread "Diff bushing kids again".

BTW I have two pairs of sleeves left over.

Thank You! I’ll get it cleaned up! My point is as much as they tout customer service, it’s not existent. They will fail! You know as well as I do, it doesn’t take long for your customers to stop believing in you if you lie to them. It’s not Rocket Science!
Why not have a serious talk with the dealerships service manager and general manager or owner of the dealership. You might get a bunch of free oil changes that would be watched like a hawk knowing the situation that happened.

I got the Lethal diff bolt upgrade kit. I got that kit because it has these sleeves, and also stronger grade 12.9 bolts. The front 2 bolts would also be through a bolt design

Also purchased the Steeda diff bushing kit and trying to decide if I should add the red pucks or skip them

Installed Glowshift gauges for differential, engine and transmission oil temperatures. The wiring underneath the car is still pending

Also, having a hard time capturing the gauges on camera. I set it to single color - white

If anyones around dayton Ohio, and wants a free steering wheel for a 15-17, I have one. I bought it off a member to keep as a spare or use as a core if I ever needed a modded one. I gave all the parts otherwise to the guy.

Free, unless you want toss me 5 bucks for a McDonald Big Mac. nomnom

I do miss having the mustang around a hair, but ive just had a massive financial reset. I closed 5 credit cards, I paid my remaining credit cards, have zero loans open. feels good mane.

Edit, if someone wants a little laptop + forscan dongle, official one. let me know, I can prob toss it to ya on the cheap locally. If not I will keep the laptop for garage laptop, but im more of a Mac guy myself and its windows. I only bought it to use forscan, thats it.
