That just looks like a regular GT spoiler, which is different from the PP2 spoiler

For those who get butt hurt easily, I didn't mean regular GT as a bad thing. All Mustangs are beautiful. It's just that mine is more special than yours.😆

...hahahahahaha!!!!!
A California Special spoiler would have been better than that.
Such a 'killer' car and a DORKY spoiler.............

No worries. Most of us put better spoilers on our regular GTs. :)

All indications are the PP2 spoiler is the same as the non-HP Mach 1 spoiler, aside from the paint. It's highly unlikely that this part is bespoke to the Mach 1.

There will probably be different part numbers between the two, especially because the paint finish is different.

Even on the Mach 1 HP, the "swing" and gurney flap on it are off the '20+ GT500 non-carbon track pack, which also themselves came from the 19-20 GT350 non-R - again, just the paint is different, from the gloss finish used on the 2 former.

Side note: some of the Mach 1 pre-production units/press pics show the HP model with the matte grey paint on the swing, and a gloss gurney flap; the gloss gurney flap never made it to production, and Ford ended up painting them the same grey as the swing.

Looking at it I believe it is a PP2 spoiler. I took a picture of my PP2 and tried to match the angle. Excuse how dirty my car is lol.

I've thrown around changing the rear spoiler out on my PP2, but I always go back to that the minimal spoiler looks great. Add in the fact it actually functions with the front aero, I'm just gonna leave it. Some Stangs look like 1990 and 2000's (grocery cart look) Honda's and I just don't get that look, but to each their own.

I know the PP2 front lip and rear spoiler added 24lbs and 60lbs at 80mph.

I think the front splitter and rear spoiler are pretty well balanced on the PP2. It may benefit from the HP rear spoiler at higher speeds than I have driven, but so far I have no complaints.

Nailed it.

It is indeed the same spoiler, but will have differing part numbers from Ford because they're used on different models (plus the PP2 came gloss black and the Mach 1 comes satin Magnetic). I have the stock PP2 spoiler in my garage and verified part numbers via Ford.

Good catch on the preproduction Mach 1 Handling Pack. They showed that around before changing it for the production model to match. I think I actually like the gurney flap more in gloss black.

I share the same opinion, I like the break - Easy thing for a Mach 1 HP Owner to do, they can just get the GT500/350 Gurney Flap.
