I can confirm that this Premier Trim package isn't included with options on my window sticker. Got me curious so I was looking in my car as to what was stitched in red. So the seats, doors, center console lid and shifter boot all have red stitching. But the dash, steering wheel, and e-brake boot don't. Strange that the shifter boot has red but the e-brake's doesn't. I can live with the steering wheel and dash not being stitched in red but this e-brake boot stitched in black is going to kill me with my OCD !
I’m going to get a red fabric dye pen if it becomes an issue 😁

If you're happy, we're happy! :like:
What’s not to be happy about! 😁 getting a new stang! Lack of red stitching will not be noticed when go fast pedal is pushed to the floor 😁

Analog looks OK, but after you see the Digital dash and all the options, you would never consider analog again...................Just put the Digital Dash in Track mode and you'll flip over the TACH!

I’ve seen it. It’s cool but I’m sticking with analog. I don’t even own a smart watch…..has to have hands 😁 grew up on Stewart Warner gauges being the benchmark…..keeping it simple

Funny, I love all my digital electronics, but my watches are mechanical. It's great to have the choice.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my iPad, iPhone and electronics as well. Just not on my wrist or dash! 😁

2019 Kona CS with 401A 6M. I don't have red stitching on my steering wheel and E-brake. It's everywhere else though. It's a bit dusty.

I guess this is the California Special thread.

Daydreaming about different things and thought about popular colors for the California Special.

Mine is Black. I know black was popular for all Mustangs in 2019. But seems I see a lot of White California Specials. I really rarely see silver, blue or red ones which I think is strange.

Well……..the 401a is more than just dashboard stitching. If there is anything on here that you might really want then a reevaluation might be called for. The whole idea of placing a special order is to get exactly what you want. Better to wait a little longer than regret not doing so. Just food for thought.

The 401A Equipment Group includes all 400A content plus the following features:
•12" LCD Digital Instrument Cluster with MyColor®
•Heated Steering Wheel
•Premier Trim with Color Accent Group
•Accent Stitched Center Console Lid, Wrapped Knee Bolsters with Accent Stitch, and Shifter Boot
•Premium Floor Mats with Accent Stitch
•Color-accented Leather-trimmed Seats
•Linked Graphite Aluminum Instrument Panel
•Unique Color-accented Door Trim
•Wrapped Center Console with Accent Stitch
•Voice-Activated Touchscreen Navigation System with Pinch-to-Zoom Capability, SiriusXM Traffic and Travel Link®
•BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with Cross-Traffic Alert
•Memory Driver Seat (3 settings) and Mirrors
...I wonder how much faster the Premium Floor Mats will make the car?
The only benefit I can see in the package is BLIS...............:like:

I don't think the floor at will make it go faster, sure will make it quietest.

Again the California Special is not a performance model. Buy a PP1 or 2 if that's what you want.

I disagree. The digital dash is worth at least 10 HP. :giggle: :like:
