ETA 02/10/21 ! It seems you were caught-up with the Flat Rock Factory closures (Apr & May) due to the horrendous Semiconductor Chip shortage. At least you will get a later Build Date. I was lucky to order in Dec !

Frustrating delay, but I can guarantee It ill be well worth the wait, and you will probably have an August 21 Build Date - 6 months newer than mine.

I ordered mine on the 2nd JAN 2021, the first working day of the new year.
Got stuffed around a bit at local Ford Dealer, they would not beleive that Shadow Pack was no longer available in 2021 and ordered it anyway. Then they found out I was correct, more delays.
Plus lots of email requests about Plant Closures, with no reply. Flat Rock Plant - Closed for 6 weeks.

02 JAN 2021 - Ordered placed at local Ford Dealer, Deposit Paid.
15 JAN 2021 - Confirmation from Ford, order received and would be processed.
02 FEB 2021 - Order Number received from Ford.
31 MAR 2021 - Email from Ford - Delays due to COVID.
13 APR 2021 - Email - VIN No. and Estimated Arrival Date of 07-AUG-2021.
26 APR 2021 - VIN No now exists in Ford Etis system.
24 MAY 2021 - Email - Mustang Plant closure due to semiconductor supply, delayed production
16 JUN 2021 - Email - Revised ETA now 02 OCT 2021.

Did you get a Dealer System Confirmation of your order, confirming your order configuration was correct ?

My Dealer omitted the Forged Alloy Wheels on the submitted order to Ford, however it was on my invoice. At least she (the Car Controler who placed the order) got the Colour correct!
VOC - Vehicle Order Confirmation - You should get this one on the day you order the car.
DORA - Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement - You should get this one the next day.

Finally got an ETA - 16 October to the dealer. Subject to change because it hasnt gone into production yet, and I dont have a VIN. Dealer said I will get an email from Ford when it does go into production, and that is when I will get my VIN.

At least now i have a date i have a few months to start buying my planned mods, with the ability to spread the purchases out over time so the missus doesnt carry on about how much money i am spending on a car i dont even have yet lol

That's what you need, at least you have official Ford Factory confirmation of your order, and VIN.
Best of luck with the Build (Segmentation) Date, as it seems more sporadic Flat Rock Production suspensions are on the way - due to the Chip shortages.

Yet more Flat Rock Production shut-downs pending, two weeks from 12 July to 26 July at this stage, and it would seem we can expect more sporadic stoppages for the rest of the year due to the petulant persistence of the semiconductor chip shortage (per Twin Turbo).
