    Hi guys

Now that I have my vin number and have a confirmed Build Date of 11th April through Etis and Cotus. Nice to she that she's now built:)

I am curious if the 2wglobal.com Track and Trace will work

I notice on their site that they ask for :

    Booking Number
    Customer Reference Number
    Bill of Lading Number
    Cargo ID

Since I do not have any of these numbers, can I copy and paste my Vin number in one of these fields?

    Thanks

    Thanks for that

I tried that but got a nil result. Probably because my car has only been built since 11th April

Generally, how many days before the ship sails before the car can be tracked this way?

I think you posted this earlier..

1 day to prepare car for build
    2 days for build
14 days for rail from Flat Rock to Baltimore (!) I can walk faster.....
20 days for Pre shipping QA
    35 days shipping time
    5 days to clear customs
10 days in Destination city pre- delivery
2 days to get to the dealer

Total 89 days which give an ETA Dealer of

So approximately 14 days to baltimore, then another 20 days PreShipping QA & after that you will be able to hopefully track it on a boat :)

    Thanks guys

Can't believe it takes so long to get to the port and 20 days for Pre Delivery.

    Crazy long time scales........

This is the wharf mine was loaded at in February 2016 (that's the tugs moving it from the wharf at the commencement of the journey).

They used to accept the vin number but removed that for privacy reasons
You are now in a cone of silence and your only hope is to get the bill of lading number from Ford OZ or your dealer
I got lucky here with WW and conned a staff member to give me the bill of lading number which then gave me the ship name and sailing details

Normally Dundalk but I don't know if that is a wharf or a region of the Baltimore port area

In general the Mustangs are booked in Baltimore or Woodstock.
You have two different "Booking Number", depending of that two places.
    Baltimore is "USBALxxxxx"
    Woodstock is "USWDKxxxxx"

Both places are a.t.m. starting with "17"

So if you use the wildcard "%" and search for "USWDK17%" and "USBAL17%" you will find all bookings and the list of parts booked to this number.
There you will find the VINs.
    Example:
    USWDK1750444
So 122 of that 290 cars are ponies, going on SALOME to MELBOURNE ariving there at 19-02-2019

    Addition to above post:

You will find the webside of wwl here:

    https://www.2wglobal.com/

If you follow the link to

    Schedules

you are able to search for all ships within the next six months, sailing to your harbour.

Departing Port is "BALTIMORE, MD", arriving port for ex. is "MELBOURNE"

Follow the link "LIST" in the middle of the results. Right hand "EXPAND" and you will find the name of the vessel and some other nice informations, for ex. each and every harbour, the ship is going to.

If you follow the "Track & trace" link on wwl's homepage, you will get the search page as explained above.

The "WindowsSticker" of your pony can be found here:

    https://researchmaniacs.com/VIN-Number-Lookup/WindowSticker/Ford.html

Your VIN ist created by placing "1FA6P8" for Fastbacks (also for Bullitts) and "1FATP8" for Convertibles in front of the chassis number. For your chassis number ask your dealer.

    Example:
    Chassis number: FF1J5169392, convertible
    VIN: 1FATP8FF1J5169392

It is created that moment, your Pony is planned for production. Date of production is the "Blend Date" in the middle of the headline.

From that date on it will take between 10 days and three weeks to send your pony from Flat Rock to Baltimore

wwl will book your Pony and you will be able to find it in their tracking tool.

Today we noticed, that "K" Line is booked again to ship our ponies. The first arrived in Bremerhaven, Germany with their vehicle carrier "Global Highway" on 17-Jan.

There ist a tracking tool also on their homepage

    https://apps.klineglobalroro.com/tracking/search

but I have no idea, what format the booking or B/L number could have.

I was in touch with "K" Line Europe in Bremerhaven. They told me, that the only possibility to get the Booking or B/L number is through Ford .
The Booking number is starting with "RIC" and there is no wildcard like at wwl's tracking page
I gave it some tries and found "RIC55132", just follow the link above and copy and paste this number into the search box.

You can see the dates of shipping but you don't see what has been shipped.

How long since you received the email from ford saying mustang's been built, did it arrive to Australia?
