I keep moving blankets (furniture pads) for just this purpose.Only in TX and OK
I mean what kind of GF doesn't immediately drag the comforter (or moving blankets) outside and lay on the car to protect it?
eBay.where is it coming from?
Its all in good fun. Mustang owners are used to getting roasted by the whole car community for not being able to drive. We gotta have someone to pick on to even it out.I suppose everybody has to have someone to make fun of. I'm just glad that the only people making fun of BMW owners are Mustang owners. (I'm not sure why though.)
Having owned four Mustangs (96 GT, 97 Cobra, 16 GT, and 19 GT) and five BMWs (99 740i, 07 335i, 08 M5, 12 135i, and 13 M5), I've been a part of both communities for a long time, and it seems like it's just jealousy/immaturity. I take it all with a grain of salt.
I do all my own work on all my cars, so the only difference I see is the price of the parts. With sites like FCPEuro and ECS Tuning making BMW parts a lot cheaper by offering the OEM alternatives, sometimes just with the BMW logos sanded off, I have found that repairs are really not that much more expensive.
I have found that the key is finding cars with a clean CarFax that have zero modifications. High miles don't scare me as long as I have documentation that service was completed on the car.
Furthermore, so much less has to be done to a BMW to get the driving dynamics "right", and I have had far less issues of chasing issues on the BMWs than I have on the Mustangs. My 2016 with less than 15k miles would push hard to the right when accelerating. After checking suspension/subframe bushings, differential, alignment, and tires, the car still pushed hard to the right. I sold the car because of the problem.
So joke all you like. If I could have found a decently priced GT350, I probably would have bought it. For now, I will enjoy this car until I get tired of it and move on to something else.![]()
exactly, thank you @ice445Its all in good fun. Mustang owners are used to getting roasted by the whole car community for not being able to drive. We gotta have someone to pick on to even it out.
Yep, you're right. I misspoke. Nobody makes fun of me more than I make fun of myself. I'm a live and let live kinda guy. I know that some people get their feelings hurt by the internet. I don't know you, you don't know me, but I bet we would get along just fine in person. Peace!exactly, thank you @ice445
@Crowd Hunter,
Everyone makes fun of all brands and drivers. It's not just mustang owners making fun of bmw driversjealousy and immaturity? Like you've never made fun of any car brand or driver. Anyway....
Back to this thread....

Sorry man, nothing worse than your shit getting ruined through no fault of your own. Sometimes life sucks. Luckily it's just an item, one that can be replaced (even though Grabber Blue is harder to find).parked it in the garage..
