USAA will take care of you. One of my cars has been rear ended twice by texting drivers. Fortunately both times both drivers and I had USAA. As for insurance, going up, 4 years ago Colorado had a massive hail storm. My house had $50k in damages. Received check 5 days after the storm for full amount. Damages across the city cost USAA alone in the millions. The next year we all received notices of increase in home insurance price due to huge payoff and likeability of it happening again. Supposedly, 75% of police cars that were on patrol that day were totaled. Shed that I built didn't have a scratch lol

Won't the rental company just bill you later once they realise any damage. Around here insurance companies often write off cars with extensive hail damage.

Installed DD's 4th brake light (gonna see if the light seats in a different orientation cuz it definitely does look darker on the left than right, as pictured) and GTS Solarwing II roof spoiler. I really like it, especially with the track pack spoiler + wicker bill.
