That matches what my dealership told me. They called to let me know they are ready to start the install monday. I asked about the calibration and that it was being released today.New update for the 2021 auto was released about 4 hours ago.
Yup. I have an appointment Tuesday. We should compare notes. That matches what my dealership told me. They called to let me know they are ready to start the install monday. I asked about the calibration and that it was being released today.
Just got my tune updated. Wow! It's like driving a new car. Oil pressure is much higher, 70 at cruise, 90 at accel, 40 at idel. At first I freaked out but Roush said this is normal. The throttle is much tighter. Car seems much more powerful. I ordered a throttle controller that now seems useless. Made my tires go eeerrrppp.
I have confirmed with Roush that it is for 2021 models.. There were some issues in getting the 2021 tune calibrated properly. The 2018-2020 tune was last updated last fall and did not have the issues facing the 2021s.Is this a new roush tune for a GT with roush PP2? I got my 2020 in feb and from what I have read they are calling it a tune for 2021s. Hopefully Im wrong and its an upgraded tune for our 2020 cars

Thank you!Yes, only 2021.
Thank you for the knowledge on that. It doesn’t really bother me as much as the erratic shifts back in forth in sport and higher modes. I’m wondering if Roush is still maybe working on this issue or if a tuner can tune these issues out? I don’t want to mess with my warranty but I also didn’t spend all this money to hate how it’s shifts either.Part throttle or light acceleration in Normal Drive Mode it is common for it to skip 2nd gear and sometimes 4th.
I am assuming the 2021 calibration is like the 18-20 models. The performance modes are supposed to keep rpm up and be more aggressive. It will downshift as you slow down and be very quick to downshift under throttle. Normal mode is smooth and designed to skip 2nd and 4th under light throttle. The various modes seem to me to be a near perfect combination and very similar to stock.Thank you for the knowledge on that.
