With the exhaust closed, you can't tell the difference.
That really surprises me. To be frank, it doesn't make sense at all and I don't believe it.

I'm sure resonators seem to make less difference when the exhaust is quiet, but they still are doing the same job of reducing exhaust noise, whether the valves are open or not.

Watched it live, 2018 LFG "JR021" sold for $75k, reserve was off at $70k-75k. Mileage was never disclosed, (on TV at least). Didn't make it to the HEP R.
Anyone see HEPR go across the block?

Almost went for 77k but someone made a 80k bid at the last second. I was surprised it went so low.

20 Heritage R: $88,000

Pretty good for the LFG, but I'd say a little disappointing on the Heritage.

I can confirm the removal of the resonators and install of a Shifteck X-Pipe did not make it louder in normal mode at idle and normal driving. Push the go fast pedal in either mode and there is a difference.

Question. Any difference in cold start? I do the whole hit the start button and wait for the cycle then actually start the car with the garage door down. I respect my neighbors and leave the house a little after 5 once a week.

I’m actually not surprised about the Heritage price. It’s a factor that matters to some buyers, not all will value it as a premium option.

The Leadfoot was MSRP $67 so $82.5 is a good price for that.

Still it’s an auction so it’s based on the buyers who were attending. We could see it fluctuate at other auctions

The HEP R had 6000 miles so $10k over sticker I think is fantastic

Cold start is loud, but when the flaps are closed, it sounds like any other V8 Mustang.

With only a difference of only $5,500 I agree with your comments that the 2018 LFG R did very well which indicates to me that unique color combinations, low mileage, early chassis numbers and well taken care of R models still continue to command a very good dollar in today's present market place.

As one other member mentioned in an earlier post that the ~6000 miles on the HEP R hurt the price of that car a fair bit and again agree with his comments as well.

Suggest that the HEP R was well sold and well bought and also suggest that the LFG R was well sold with the new owner getting a terrific and rare R model.
