I try to step into each build with an open mind. Each one is special in its own way. Give them all the same level of attention. Certain cars just have a way about them. This there’s is usually GT500 only, but this is one cobra I think we can all enjoy.

My GT500 got a new companion a couple of weeks ago. I called Terrance back in January and told him I would like to get a set of Signature Precision series SV706's in gloss black for my future Mach-E. Well, that got him all excited and he promptly went to the nearest Ford dealer to take some measurements of one of their demo's. The narrow OEM 19"x7" wheels with the skinny 225/55/19 tires would not cut it for me. I know EV's have skinnier tires for extended range but I am not interested in a lot of range. This particular Mach-E is rated for 270 miles and I would be satisfied with 200.

I wanted a meaty look and better handling especially since this vehicle weighs just under 5000 #. I asked Terrance if he could build me a staggered setup and to be able to run at least 255's up front and 295's in the rear with NO poke. He came up with 20"x8.5" wheels in front and 20"x10" in the rear. The wheels came in a week before the Mach-E did and I had my tire shop install Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV 255/45/20's for the fronts and 295/40/20's for the rears. Not only do they look much better than the OEM set up, I saved a total of 15 # of weight beings the wheels were lighter.

The OEM whees/tires only lasted a few days before I replaced them with the Signature/Michelin set up so I have no idea what the range would have been on them. I now have close to 1000 miles on the odometer and the few times I have fully charged it, I get a max range between 260-274 miles so I can't complain about that. No more squealing going around corners and the steering feels so much better. I am very happy with the Signature wheels on all my vehicles also Terrance's knowledge and the attention to detail he provides to his customers.

what color is this mach E? looks awesome

Hi Frank, the color of my Mach-E is Infinite Blue. It is a very unique color in that in the sun it can look like a washed out blue but in the shade can look like dark charcoal gray. Ford just discontinued the color for the Mach-E as of last week so if you go to order one now, Infinite Blue is no longer available. Funny thing is, it was the most popular color the car was built in.
