The main difference I see is in the drive modes - I don't think the Shelby has as many drive modes, but as long as the controller is getting fed the right input it should be fine. I need to buckle down and plug mine in as well - I picked up a 2018 GT350 unit a while ago, but missed out on the 2020 PP2 that was on the Bay when I bought my sway bars.
According to the article I saw the only difference is the name of the show/rain mode on 2019 GT's and GT350's.

They have Normal, Sport(Sport+ on GT), Track, Weather(Snow/Rain on GT), Drag Strip

Also curious how that GT350 unit will work out.

I'm thinking that for the same reason FP thought it necessary to recalibrate the existing Mustang GT magneride settings when adding the springs and bar in their handling pack, doing more or less the the opposite, adding GT350-calibrated magneride settings to a stock Mustang GT/Bullit suspension setup will have similar problems.

Would be really cool if it works well though.

Closest you can do it order a PPL2 Controller. LR3V-18B066-AA is the only part number Ive found for one but i cant find that in any parts books.

Shelby GT350 is KR3C-18B066-AA

EDIT: Speaking of I just grabbed a GT350 controller off of ebay for $190, not bad for a $900 new part.
Do you know of an install video for this part. I'dike to change it myself, if I can, but can't find any info on it. Thanks!

There’s also “My Mode” on GT/EBPP that is some combo of drive, exhaust, & steering settings. I suppose that doesn’t have to play into what the box does and could just be a multi-setting switch. I don’t use it so I’m not that familiar with what it does.

So there are several part numbers and i'm sure various sw for each. So does anyone know the diffetences in the hardware: F, J, K, L ? And is the installed sw identified on the label, ie. 6 digit code near part number?

Looks like ford techs can load sw, but you would have to make friends with one and know what to ask for since they would go by your VIN.

Once I get the one I ordered I'll be able to compare it to the controller in my car. Both are 2019 parts.

Really there should be PP lv1 software, PPlv2 software, GT350 software, GT350R software and Mach1 software. The Ford Performance flash should "essentially" be similar to the PP Lv2/GT350/Mach1 software as those cars do not need the flash to take advantage of the FP handling kit.

the Mach1 handling package seems the closest to the FP kit, in terms of specs so the mach1/FP tunes I expect are the most similar.

So, if I have the GT Premium I should get the GT350?

In theory a PP LV2 or GT350(assuming its compatible) controller would be the best option for a GT with stiffer springs/swaybars. My understanding is the GT350R has different struts, so I have NO idea how that would impact a normal GT

I'd assume a GT500 has a different strut like the GT350R so I have no idea how that would work, it also has a much heavier front end.

Let's be clear we have NO idea if ANY of them work. NO ones had one in hands to test it yet. I may have just as well wasted $190 for all Iknow.

Oh, crap. Well, please let me know the outcome as soon as you know anything. Thanks.

So i just saw a 2017 gt350 came with a FR3V controller to add more confusion. Anyone out there with a 2019 PP2 controller, would appreciate the P/N and the other codes on the label. See below (2016 GT350) as an example:
