We made the remote start work finally on the Australian Mustangs, so same as UK and export.
New key fobs etc. Need a Ford Dealer to pair the keys though and you have to do some programming via forscan which we can help with, let me know if any of you guys are keen!

Gen 2?
these work for all 2015-2021 mustangs
As long as it’s an automatic transmission

We have both the 2015-17 and 2018-20 keys available.

Yes, I have an automatic 2017. Gen 2 just refers to the coyote power plant in the non face-lift mustangs.

How much are we talking in dollars and cents?

I thought there was a hardware issue as the fobs run at a different frequency than our ones. The one pictured it's a 902mhz key, if I remember correctly ours is 415mhz...

Im guessing they must modify the frequency on the Key fob hence I'm assuming you have to get the key fob from them and then it can be reprogrammed and attached to your car at the local dealer. Then a few changes in forscan and done.

Haha no installation video. Its not that complicated at all. The kit I bought came with 2, 4 button oem Ford keys and a new remote access reciever.

The reciever itself is located under the parcel shelf so you swap that one out and then you have to get your factory keys deleted and the new keys reinstalled.

There is some forscan work to be done as well.

But the kit works flawlessly. I'll do a very short explanation and talk through of the install process and post it on YouTube at some stage. I have a lot of raw video footage of a lot of things which need editing and putting together but it takes a lot of time.

Very interesting! It's crazy that's all you change to get it in!

If you could walk through detailed forscan bits that would be great!

The forscan bits were done remotely using team viewer by the vendor. I know very little about using forscan and dislike coding. I'm sure the changes could be understood when compared with the as built data but I'm just happy someone has come up with a tried and tested solution that works and was happy to pay for it. I didn't fancy messing about with the key system at all.

Drop him a message via Instagram for costs etc. Well worth it if your car is under a cover through most of winter.
