So I replaced sub today with a rockford fosgate p3sd2 and was wondering what it would take to replace the amp?

I'm not a huge audiophile guy, my experience is quite rudimentary, dating to high school and wiring in a couple 12s and an amp using rca's.

I have the kenwood amp above just sitting around and was wondering if I would be able to use it to replace the sub amp from the shaker pro. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You want a mono amp not a 2 channel amp for a subwoofer.

So I could use this for my door 3.5's and 6.5's possibly? Could I bypass the stock component amp with this? I've replaced the door 3.5's as well as the door 6.5's and have been unimpressed. I am about to swap out the kicker 6.5 (4ohm) with a pair of powerbass 2ohm 6.5's in hopes of that clearing up the bass a bit, cause once I put those 4ohm ones in, the bass disappeared nearly completely

I'm not averse to using forscan... I've done little stuff like turn off the seat belt chime and allow for hugh beams and foglights. But with the amp you posted it would be almost plug and play? No forscan alterations?
You will have to run the power wire and get the input signal. But it uses a DSP to correct the factory eq pretty well. I have zero issues using kickers key products. I have a small audio build I did if you wanna check it out.

So with that amp, would i still need an LC2i for the line out and speaker level inputs?

No the amp does it all but better.
So did you just cut the rca jacks off and run en to your signal speakers like that? Or should I get a line out converter?

I really appreciate your help....I took your advice and got all the 12v wiring ran and buttoned up...gonna get the signal, ground and speaker wire knocked out here shortly.

I used speaker wire to rca adapters but kicker says you can cut the rcas off and run the wire to the amp like that if you chose to do so.

Gotcha.....thats what I'm going to do as well...ordered one last night. Its really nice how easy it is to run wire in this car...the panels pull off almost TOO easily!

Thanks again!

I should have it done tonight, maybe tomorrow, depending on when the Amazon dude delivers my LOC. Quick question for ya....which forscan codes do I need to change once I install the amp? I've already disabled the factory eq processing when I swapped out all the front speakers and I was under the impression there was something I must change when I swap amps.

Thanks again man!
