Hi all,

So i decided to trade my mustang in recently. The noisy engine and repeated trips to the dealer just got the better of me. That combined with the super high trade in values sealed the cars fate. I only ended up loosing 2k from what i paid new last year.
I appreciate all the help from the folks on the forum, and i will genuinely miss the mustang. The suspension setup was killer an the car with an e85 tune ripped.

For those curious i ended up getting a 2019 CPO accord 2.0T touring. No where near as fast but a lot more comfy.

I do have a question for folks. I flashed the car to stock before trading it in. Is my Ngauge something that i can sell? I know my tune cant be used on another car, but imagine the device itself has some value .

If the tuner is unmarried you can re-sell it at a pretty decent price. The tunes however cannot be carried over.

I wish you luck. I traded my 15 GT for a C6 Corvette in 2017. I got bored with the Corvette in a year and missed my Mustang even with its crappy MT-82. I was so happy trading the C6 back to a 18 GT Mustang.

Did you at least get a 6MT? :) I drove an auto one, and felt lethargic compared to my wife's Optima SXL with the same 2.0T. And louder inside too, which was surprising. But it's an overall good and reliable car.

Can you expand on what you mean by unmarried? Its a lund Ngauge, and i have used it to flash the car. I know the tunes are useless, but i was thinking a hundred bucks would be nice or something.

I got the a10 touring. 6mt would be nice, but its legitimately not intended to be a sports car. The mustang replaced my last daily, which was a bit of a mistake.I just want something with a bit of power, that would last me well through the loan period. I was considering an optima, but my brothers has had some issues. I wanted boost and reliability.

I have a GTI thats on coils and has the golf R turbo. Outright performance is a little less than that of the stang but the size makes it more enjoyable to drive (just in my opinion) and an old 2004 regal supercharged thats big Cammed, intercooled, methed, on e85 that is destined for a turbo next year. I just need a daily that wont make me cry when i put my foot down.

Im going to be honest, the stang was an excellent performance vehicle, in terms of capability, but it never really clicked for me. i never really "loved it" the way I do my GTI. Not a reflection on the car, but it just wasnt me i think.

get a tune on that accord and couple extra simple things... you'll be surprised... that engine is underrated AF
Sway bar is incoming almost immediately. A JB4 might happen next year. I reaaaaalllly like 40 highway mpg on 87 octane.

as i mentioned in other posts I wasnt really looking for a performance car, just something fast enough that i dont hate it.

I totally agree. My Rabbit only had a tune and was just SO DAMN fun! Yes once you return the car to stock your tuning device is (better be) un-married and can be sold without problem.

Sound like me. Traded my 14 GT for a C7 last year. Missed the hell out of my Mustang and traded it in this year for a 20 GT PP1. Had the itch for a Corvette, once I had it a while the novelty wore off.

K&n drop in filter and ktune... with the a10, there is a lot of "performance" cars that will be all confused when you dust them on a traffic light... very good 4 cyl turbo option instead of buying a fking EB mustang lol...

and I know how you guys feel about your GTI... i have a 2006 STI with a few mods... and even when is not as fast from a roll like the mustang, it is a million times more fun to drive... 6k awd launch control is awesome lol.

There's a car out there for everyone. I did the opposite, came from a GTI to a Mustang because I thought the GTI was pretty boring and it never really clicked with me. But obviously, no opinion is wrong, and we all need to do what we like to make our short time on earth more enjoyable.

With that said, a compliance squad will be visiting your home shortly to shoot you for leaving the cult. Have a nice day!

I always wanted a Corvette and really wanted a C7 but didn’t want to fork over the cash for one in 2017. My 09’ C6 was a one owner with only 29k miles. I scratched my itch for always wanting one but I found myself not really wanting to drive it.
