Hi All ,
Please note, i do not wish to ship anything listed in this ad, prefer local sale only.
I recently sold my mustang. it had full steeda suspension on it, and when i swapped i kept all the stock parts.
Sway bars, struts (minus the top hats for the fronts) springs, stuff that is...
Hi Folks,
Selling my lund Ngauge. It is vin locked, however lund stated that they would unlock it for the next owner for free if the buy a lund tune. I am happy to forward that email. Asking 100 bucks.
I honestly thought it was a joke.
The fact that he said its unfair to compare a shopping car to a mustang then spent a paragraph talking about how the mustang is superior in every way blows my mind.
My GTI has the golf R turbo and runs low 12s/high 11s depending on the weather, ive also...
You get it!
The mustang was great at 5k-8k and running around on-ramps, but I almost never drove it that way.
Driving back roads it felt too big for the narrow roads. It handled better than my GTI no quesiton there, but i enjoyed the GTI more on a back road because I wasnt fighting to...
I genuinely liked the exhaust, that wasnt my issue with it. It was the rattles and clatters the engine made. It sounded like the engine was going to throw a rod or a piston at any moment. Id be driving along windows down, hit the 2k rattle and instantly frown.
It looks like its married :( I reached out to lund to see if they can unmarry it, but i guess i have a paper weight now. (though i might be able to get the dealership to let me unmarrry it. I have to deliver the spare key and the wheel lock .
s60 was falling apart . I dropped over 5k into fixing it that year and it was still breaking.
Buick makes me smile, mustang didnt. Really what it comes down to.
I think at the end of the day I tried to replace a Volvo S60 with a mustang when I should have just gone for the accord.
Back in 17 and test drove a 16 5.0 and bought my GTI instead
The real fun is going to be my 400 whp supercharged regal that screams like a banshee. Should be up and running...
Also on the note of wheel hop. The mustang was the worst car ive ever had for it. 99% certain wheel hop is why my clutch exploded when i launched the car.
Just to clarify,
Im not talking about exhaust or anything like that. Im specifically talking about the 2k rattle that sounds like the thing has piston slap. The bbq tick that sounds vaguely like rod knock. There are at least 3 different noises in the coyote that are "normal" that would have...
For me, its the coyote. I genuinely dont like it. I know thats sacrilege. Ive owned a LOT of boosted cars, and a few pushrod v8s. That and the size of the car never let me feel like i was truly flying around curves (and that i was)
1. The coyote has to be revved out to make the car hustle...
Sway bar is incoming almost immediately. A JB4 might happen next year. I reaaaaalllly like 40 highway mpg on 87 octane.
as i mentioned in other posts I wasnt really looking for a performance car, just something fast enough that i dont hate it.
