Decided to give this a go. $5 from the slow boat. Not sure, but worth a look.

its not ugly, but it isn't my cup of tea either. I like keeping the wheels basic colors...kinda like good shoes with a suit. Plus you already have red brakes. But hey, if you dig then that is all that matters.

That's not bad. I think personally I'd like it better if the wheels were either black or silver, but not both. I do like it with the red calipers though.

Now, if you want to see a bad decision....

Yep. That’s definitely a bad decision. I don’t like black Wheels or silver wheels, part of the reason I like my CS wheels. I think the red trim may look better if I had white calipers/covers.

Yeah, the white calipers might work, but would they ever stay white?

Totally just my opinion but I want any exterior mods to blend in with the whole car. If a mod draws your attention to it then I feel it detracts from the overall appearance.

With that said, we've all spent a lot of money on our rides so make it what you want!

Didn’t think I would, but you know what? I like them. A little different but not obnoxious.

I have thought about doing the same on mine. Back in the day I had red line (thin red "white" wall) tires that looked good. If I get these the look would almost be the same. I have Ruby Red with the blackout package so I think the red trim rings might look good. Easy enough to try, and remove if I don't like them. Can you provide a link to where you got yours? The ones I see around here are about $100 for enough to do four rims.

Thank,
Bob

For some strange reason I get an error when trying to access the info. But here is a pic if the purchase and vendor. You should be able to find it from there.

Here’s my 2-5cents, because we round things up up here and well I didn’t want to round down cause then it wouldn’t amount to anything

for what they’re manufactured for, to protect from curb rash, I like, but to be so flashy I don’t like them. I love those CS OEM wheels and I feel like it takes away from those beauties. BUT lol if you like it, then that’s what counts :like:

I striped my wheels 4 years ago. I get a lot of compliments and questions asking, “What kind of wheels are they?”
with that being said, I think the red is to wide. I tried 1/4” and it was too much. I went with 1/8” stripe. If you could find that material in 1/8” width, change it out.
