1st Mods on 2020 GT500

Nothing earth shattering, but the same rubber grommet used for the front splitter fits the hole that is left, when taking out the stock air box.

I expect that I should probably know, Jaime but I didn't install the splitter. Is that an intended throw away part that ships with it or something else?

First mod...custom gravel guards. Shown here in white PLA for prototyping.
Simple design that requires no drilling or hardware and covers a good portion of the inner skirt, where a TON of gravel is thrown.

2nd mods tomorrow...PPF and tint. First drive as well.

Can any one confirm the part number for lighted cup holder that works in GT500? Anyone done this? I originally had part number FR3Z-6313562-BC but shows NLA now. Did little digging and found this new part number GR3Z-6313562-BB but looking for someone that might know more. thanks

GR3Z-6313562-BB is the correct part number. Got mine from Tasca Parts for $128.61

I had a write up about it many posts back in this thread. There are four wires at the plug coming off of the LED light strip. Blue wire is for the positive of the Blue LED, Green for the Green, Red for the Red and Black is ground. Since I wanted it to have the same "Ice Blue" color of the controls (and the ambient lighting under the foot wells and doors I installed) I only used the Blue and Green wires. Doing so though, you need to cut down the amount of blue to get the "Ice Blue" color so I used a voltage reducer going to the blue wire which I got from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WQJ2GD6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

If anyone is looking for a really good temporary film, I highly recommend Track Armour. Easy to work with, 4 mills thick, good adhesion and releases without residue or effort.

I am referring to the rubber grommets that come with the splitter. They are installed to plug holes at a few mounting locations. I picked up a bag of extras because one got scraped to death before I installed the Sliplos.

I'm trying to find new Cobra emblems that have the Cobra with red belly. Similar to what I did on my 2011 GT500. Additionally, I'm looking at doing the Shelby in the front-splitter in Red along with the GT500 embossed into the front bumper.

Next week is getting front end clear bra installed and ceramic window tint (legal dark all the way around plus clear on the windshield.

WELL CRAP! Just got off call with Forgeline and dealer. They CANNOT make the wheels i want for the GT500! The forging blanks are too short! The wheels I wanted are Forgeline CF3C-SL Stepped Lip. I have a few other backup options now so have to do some research and thinking!
