You're going to run my retirement dough, DRY, Jaime! :-)

And I SWEAR you vacuumed the driver's floor just for the photo. <chuckling>

Then again, I'm a slob and if that were my car, there'd be lint and pebbles all over the place. :-)

Checked the build thread for a link, didn't see one so, how about one for a bud? <smile>

Thanks, Don...I'm such a dunce.

Found it amigo but I thought those were different than the set you picked up, obviously not. I already had the link from your original post. <laughing>

I DO like the looks and better grip is a bonus.
They did work great on the track last week. No slip at all.

Retirement dough? What’s that lol.

Yep, vacuumed all those stale McDonald’s fries and such, just for the photo :)

Pedals are mint buddy. I see Mr. Chairman provided the linky.

Tip; put your car on your lift to install them, yours will get you high enough to make a big difference. With my 2 post, I was able to get it to the height I could stand upright to install them. Very helpful, especially when drilling the brake pedal.

I'm wondering, do you track-oriented folks have a favorite pair of driving shoes? Or perhaps, a favorite type?

I ask because TA is coming up and I don't have a clue. I am planning on taking a pair of slip on, leather "driver shoes" with the little bumps on the bottom. I love them but don't know if slip-ons are the way to go.

Excellent tip to use the lift, Jaime...(I would never have thought of that as my brain THINKS you're SUPPOSED to suffer when working under the dash.) <laughing> How many times I wonder.. :-)

As I told Don, I thought his looked different..so much for my short-term memory.

Thanks, dude on the order list.

Happy to help. The older I get, I have to think smarter, not harder.
I’ve got this re-occurring herniated disc in my lumbar spine that cripples me for weeks on end, so I have to try to prep lab everything. Oh the joys of EMS, and firefighting. It really beats a body up, especially a massive 5’5” masterpiece like mine.

I have a pair of driving shoes (mostly because they are narrow for use with “manual” 3 pedal cars), but regular lace up tennis/sports shoes would be fine. Not sure slip-on’s would be a good idea.

Holy smoke! Having never visited COTA, I didn't know about "the tower." WHOA, now THAT's a "tower." <smile>

I’ll send you a link with my pictures for your viewing pleasure. Its probably the best track facility in the USA, and we drove it day & night...

Alas, the Shelby Store no longer sells shoes at all so where else to go? Kamazonski.

Found these Pumas for a decent price and I think they'll suffice, what do you guys think?

HAD to get RED and it's even close to Rapid! :-)

These are what I was planning on wearing. I never have slip issues when I wear them driving but laced up is always more better.
