Jaime: For overlays, they look REALLY good. I'm guessing one has to get pretty close to tell the difference.

Me thinks T should consider having those printed in the MY colors every year, too. :-) (No doubt he's more concerned with matching his finishes.) <bigger grin>

Can't wait to see 'em installed, dude.

Thanks buddy, I'm super excited.

The nice thing about the Signature overlays is they aren't just a vinyl decal, they are about 1/8" thick, and have what feels like a gel coat on them. There will be no way to tel they aren't real caps without peering directly at them from 6" away.

I think T should look into having this design cut into actual center caps for the GT350 & GT500 customers, that would be MINT.

Certainly worth investigating, Jaime and if the cost wasn't crazy, I'd be a customer.

I thought those looked "thicker" in the photos, no doubt a process similar to the "domed letters." And, since it was hard for me to tell even with the super closeup photo, I knew they'd look like real caps from normal viewing distances.

I have always liked "the snake," even as a kid who bad-mouthed Fix Or Repair Daily vehicles. <smile> The Cobra was just TOO kewel. Having them CNC'd from a block of aluminum with a gloss black background would be the cat's meow I think. And the more I think about it, the more I like the idea of JUST the snake and not the text. I think that's what I want on the start button, too.

Still haven't cut my own rain tray snake, though but I need to get the tray painted first. So glad that worked out.

And, I think I gotta have one of those 1320 Junkie CAI yoonits. <grin> Hard to beat that kinda bang for the buck and not a PITA to install. Win-win. Plus, they're color-matching which I think is a super nice touch, especially for what I think is a very good price.

I'd be in on buying a real set of caps if @50 Deep could make them happen.

Me too on the snake logo, I have always loved and wanted it.

Yah, the vinyl is holding up perfectly so far. I have a nice coat of wax on it as well.

To be honest, at first sight of the 1320junkie CAI on Steve's car, I wasn't initially keen on the looks, and thought I was going to go with the JLT intake. But, the more I looked into it, the more I liked it, and the paint to match option was key for me, besides the great results posted about how well it performs. Jason (owner) has been extremely great to deal with, and is a super nice guy. Also, there is a heat shield in development that can be installed after, if that plays any factor in your decision. I will say, once I opened the box and saw it with my own eyes, my initial impression was immediately gone, this thing is simply great, and I am super happy I went with it. The rubber tube looks mean to me, and looks WAY better in person. When you see the size of it, you immediately understand what the ribs are doing, holding this massive girthy tube completely stable.

I will not say anything bad about JLT, I think they make great products as well, I have some now, and have many over the years. I am sure people who decide to buy theirs will have great results, and love it, just as I do my kit.

Some quick photos of the ambient lighting I installed last week. For the cup holders I bought the Ford OEM ones that have the lighting built in. There are three power leads going to them (Red, Green and Blue LED) and a ground. I powered the green LED fully but put a variable resister on the blue LED power to bring it down so I could get the Ice Blue (aqua) color to match the rest of the interior controls. Picked up the power for this from the parking switch lighting.

As for the doors and footwells, I used an LED strip that has the three colors in each LED. With the strip, you can cut it to any length you want as long as it is every three LED's and soldier your own wiring onto the cut strip. I bought two strips each are 15" long. I cut one 3 LED section to use for the door handles but only used one LED and put it over the hole that is in the door handle that is for the OEM ambient light LED. I cut a 6 LED strip and put it in the back of the storage bin in the door that has a slot to come through. The remaining LED's that were left on the 15" strip which is now about 8" long I put in the foot wells. As with the cup holder, I wired the green LED with full power but put a variable resistor on the blue LED power and brought it down to 8.6 volts which to my eye matched the Ice Blue color of the dash controls. I got the power for the door LED's from the power window switch lighting and for the footwells, I taped off of the headlamp control lighting. The cup holders and footwells will dim with the dash board dimmer but the doors do not since the door window switches do not dim with the dash dimmer. It all looks great at night.

It is hard to get a good photo with the lights being so dim and the colors don't show up all the same. The lights definitely look better in person. They also look brighter in the photos than they actually are.

Thanks. Want to get the 500 up to par with some of the options that I would have gotten in a GT Premium.

Thanks to my good Texas buddy @kilobravo for making a decal for my dipstick cover. It looks way better in person, the picture is such good quality, it makes the clear overlay more noticeable than it is to the naked eye. You're the best Kent

You didn't tell me (or I didn't notice,) that there was a hole in the handle, Jaime. It's location worked out perfectly on the "S." <grin>
Yep, that's the end of the screw that holds both halves together. The head of the screw is countersunk, and obviously has a larger diameter so I chose this side to be the visible side. To center the "S" it should be slightly down further, but this puts the screw hole behind the blue of the S, so I chose to raise it a bit and place the screw hole inside the open semicircle of the S. Looks good to me, thanks again buddy.

Not exactly 1st mods to an actual GT500, but........ @kilobravo converted this GT350 business card holder to look like my car. I thought this was cool enough to post, and I wanted to thank Kent (once again) for his mad skills. I love it buddy!

Jaime: It was challenging and at times, infuriating, <grin> but fun...really. You're most welcome and it looks superb with cards in it on the desk. The car shot was ultra cool. :-)

Edit: I'm just sorry we couldn't match the vinyl more closely.

Ok Earl, here you go. I just walked into the kitchen (about 30 feet from the car in the garage) and both my watch and phone gave me a message on the lock screen that my battery needed to be charged. The CTEK Battery Sense app had a red dot notification on it also. Below is the locked screen and the app screen.

Does anyone know how to do a screen shot on an Android phone?
The Battery Sense App for Android phones is nowhere near as nice as the IOS app. It lacks a lot of the features and only gives you graphs for State of Charge.

When I hooked up the battery sense to my 2020, it showed the battery state of charge at 76%. I charged the battery to 100% and 4 days later it was at 77%. It looks like this car is going to need a lot of recharging, if it just sits around. It looks like Ford finally found a way to compete with the Corvette.
