have you tried the Bullitt version? WAY better than the Shelby (cloth or leather) IMO and the one I tried in an EB/Prem was also uncomfortable.
I want the vented seats. I know they aren't the greatest, but I'm in FL and every little bit helps.

I think that's a fair list price. No matter the car there's always people claiming they got absurd deals on it. This is mostly just an American thing, going high and low back and forth playing games with the dealer wondering/guessing what cost it truly is to them to have sitting on their lot. It drives me crazy.

I paid $50k for mine with the same options (don't like recaros because i'm 6'2 200+lbs build they hug me a little too much. seems better suited for 150-180lbs people) I could probably sell it back to same dealer today for $40k (just a guess, my relationship with my local dealer is very good).

I guess what I'm rambling about is every dealer's cost to retain/sell a specific vehicle is different. Remember their margins are not as good on new cars as they are on used cars, hence why they try to make money off you with extended warranties/service and financing through them. I say if you really want it, that price is fair they are not making much money off that. If you don't really want it, then low-ball them and see what happens.

I just started looking at them and noticed there is a ton of them for sale (about 150 in a 500 mile radius) and some in the 38-42k range (although all 19's). So I take it they are not that rare? It does look like they made a lot less of the black ones and I kind of like those, although I know what a pain they are to keep clean.

Yes there are lots of left-over Bullitts. The trick is to get (some) dealers to acknowledge the car is/was not all that special and to take the economic hit to offload it. Because if it hasn't sold in a year for 50k'ish it's sure isnot going to sell now.

Just bought a 2019 for $47,750 OTD. Don’t know what I did with the invoice but the OTD price was a few bucks below.

Shopped the exact same car at 5 dealerships... ended up driving an hour to pick this one up because they were willing to beat the best deal I had negotiated by $1,000.

FMC also excluded the Bullitt from the 0% for 84 according to a few of the dealers and the incentive sheet I got ahold of but my dealer got it done!

Wow, you got over 7k in rebates and 0% for 84 months? Those payments look to be about what I'm paying for my 16 premium GT which was 0% for 72 and that is before factoring in any down payment and equity (which I should have at least 5-7k of).

My theory was that dealers didn't mind having the Bullitt sitting on their lot (I know it costs money to keep on lot) but it attracts attention and they'll only be produced for two years. So negotiation is still a two-way road. Also working to your benefit is nobody knows how to drive manual anymore lol I got tons of comments from other people and from the dealer saying they wanted a Bullitt but didn't want the stick. To me the stick is what makes the Bullitt, it is not that fast in a straight line but rowing your own gears and roasting the tires with that loud exhaust is where the fun lies lol

Yep! There were only one or two rebates that stacked with the special financing, the rest was dealer discount.

They actually had the exact same car on their lot that I preferred for the lower MSRP, it didn’t have the car cover making it $395 less. They were willing to lower the price more for me on this one because it had been sitting on their lot longer.

Trick is to find a dealer that has their inventory financed. Therefore costing them money every day that it sits on the lot collecting dust.

If anyone’s in the DFW area there are plenty on lots all over! They’re getting desperate to move them...

I really want to like the Bullitt as I like the understated styling without all the badges and would have to get the Recaros if I were to get one. But I would really prefer an auto for remote start and the car isn't really that much faster than my stock 16GT in a straight line at least. I also don't like the idea of no heat or cool feature for the seats. It isn't really that rare either when you compare it to something like the Challenger 1320 or Camaro SS in Rally Green. What I mean in comparing it to the latter, the Bullitt was produced for two years this time and they only made the Chevy in that color for one year and you can option it endless ways compared to only three options on the Bullitt.

The Bullitt is like a GT with a Green paint job to most people.

A GT350 or 350 R would attract attention - not a Bullitt.

Car dealers are not attached to ANY car - they want it off the lot after 90 days it's old and they want it sold !

No heated and cooled Recaros, but available in the regular seats. Does the Camaro offer heated and cooled Recaros? also have to consider that Rally Green was available in all trims and models so who knows how many Rally Green Cars are out there. DHG is specific to the Bulllitt when you see that color you know what your packing lol.

Your best bet is to search for and grab a 19. Largest differences are: 1) no gas guzzler tax & 2) no ford pass connect. You will get a better deal on a 19.

Like the original poster, I’ve been getting quotes from dealers that are within my driving range in central California for one of the leftover 2019 Bullitts. I want a green car with the Electronics package and the Magna-Ride suspension, without the Recaros. I make no attempt to hide the fact that I’m a shameless bottom-feeder and that the price would have to be somewhere near $42K + fees for me to pull the trigger.

In spite of the fact that many of these cars have been on their lots for over a year and customers are almost non-existent thanks to the lockdown, not a single dealer I’ve contacted has come anywhere close to the deals that you regularly see outside of California – particularly on the East Coast. I think that my local dealers genuinely don’t know how the East Coast and Mid-West dealers can offer these cars for about $4K less than they can. Hard to believe that Ford’s back-end incentive programs would be regional. I suppose if the dealers offering great deals were getting money from their local dealer groups to move 2019’s, that could explain it.

Anyone have any idea why the cars vary so much in price in certain areas?
