I bought this one on Etsy. There was a guy here in the forum doing them a few years ago. I found it in a search, and his were really good- had more of a dimension to them. Tried to pm him, and his website is dead- so I settled on this one until I find something better.

How about just calling it the "GOD" button. After pushing it and putting the pedal to the metal, that will be the first word out of their mouth. OMG works too.

I think most of us are waiting to see what you come up with on your Ford GT designed DCT dial.
Going swimmingly Mark, check the website for an update. Would be best to discuss it further on a dedicated thread instead of this one..?

I should also mention that the North American P-51 Mustang you included is not a "jet" by any definition but it most certainly qualified as a "fighter."

Meanwhile, are you and Mark implying that you can fabricate a replacement button out of aluminum, not just a decal? If so, (and if it won't require a King's ransom,) I'm interested. <grin>
The Aluminium buttons are already manufactured and in stock. I kept a few buttons aside without the Power Text and Symbol for those wanting a custom engraved option.

These buttons were manufactured alongside jet engine components - the same level of expertise, refinement and precision went into the buttons which is why I threw the word "jet" in there. (I've mentioned this in the first line of the product description)
But I digressing too and there's not much time before Mark starts revving up for the Dial after witnessing this button...

Not sure if we need a dedicated thread just for the DCT dial. While we have talked about it a bit here, we have more discussions of it on this thread ( https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/upgraded-paddle-shifters.136512/) if we want to continue there. Otherwise if you want to start a new thread for this, that's fine too.

Yes Kevin, that is the dial I think many of us would like. I'll be first in line :)

I like to disassemble things.
Whoa. Looks very sharp. Looking forward to seeing it on the car.

Tried to find a vendor making start button "bolt-on" replacements but no one seems to have anything for this car yet.

Then, I thought that perhaps a vinyl decal would work so I did some doodling. I haven't measured the actual button yet but I will soon so I can get the cutout for the LED correct.

Meanwhile, I ginned up a couple...

CL: While my feeble brain doesn't "get" "ROLL OUT," I did gin one up. To a pilot, that's the part of the trip after landing and before turning off on to a taxiway. :-)

As for an SM decal, that would require an extremely expensive vinyl printer/plotter/cutter and one of those I don't have.
