Don't do this. It will take your temperature abive 220F which is when carbon can start to bind to valves. You'd have to drive the thing on a track for many laps to get to the temperature that carbon loses its binding characteristic.Run it to redline every once in a while and you shouldn't need to add anything as long as you're on 91 or higher.
You're recommending to not run a fully forged engine to redline to clear it out every once in a while?Don't do this. Reminded me of this. This was after Shelby give him one of his cars. One of Bill's funniest. You're recommending to not run a fully forged engine to redline to clear it out every once in a while?
I've seen engines that never go above 3k have more carbon build up than I'd have thought possible. Revving your engine out isn't going to hurt and and getting it nice and "cleared out" is a great way to keep it running well.
Either way, build up on the valves will have to stupid excessive to cause an performance issues.
Those engines aren't coyotes. Also, Engineering Explained has a compelling video about this. You're recommending to not run a fully forged engine to redline to clear it out every once in a while?
