It's a small world.....

The scene with the "Fiero with a rocket" was filmed just down the road from me here in little 'ol Newbury (UK). Greenham Common is an old (now decommissioned) US Airforce base. During the Cold War, nuclear warheads were stationed there. The base was always in the news due to the female "peace protesters" who would often chain themselves to the fencing in protest of the weapons.

The same base was also used in couple of scenes in Star Wars episode 7 :)

I can't.

I have all the movies on Blu-Ray up to 6....and after that....I just can't.

There's so many over-the-top, impossible stunts done that my mind just can't accept it.

The Mustang in 2Fast2Furious was a laser red Saleen New Edge
Got crushed under a truck though, so barely 30 seconds of screentime
if anyone is interested in that car, it's in PA now. IG: @2f2fsaleen02. guy brings it out to a lot shows.

I've never seen a single movie in this series, don't think I ever will. It's just too absurd for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I will admit the Fast movies check all the boxes for turn your brain off entertainment, but to me the series peaked with Fast Five and has been downhill since. It's almost become a parody of itself.

It was far fetched after 1. Tokyo Drift might have been good if they consulted someone who was a professional drifter. One of my friends across series is a Formula Drift Tier 1 pro. If i bust his chops about racing, I make like references to that movie. He’s a good sport.

I think they did (for the time), did they not have one of the traditional jap drift guys ? I might be dreaming but I thought he did a cameo in it too ?

When I get chance I will check the extras on the dvd ...

Lol...I stopped watching after the first one. You really have to shut off the reality filter for this movie!
Me too. Talk about HOLLYWOOD.

I feel like this series is one step from having them team up with the Avengers and Transformers to save the universe from some corrupt alien race.

Yeah one of the Fisher man on the dock was an actual touge racer from the 70s, dominant racer in the 80s and 90s and drove some of the huge name cars in the JGTC and LeMans (I think he finished 1st or 2nd overall in LeMans one year) and was THE pro drifter who had the actual nickname of Drift King for introducing drifting as an official sport. Not sure what he's into now but yeah he's done a lot in racing lol

Totally agree, after 5 it's like a really bad knock-off of itself. I can't remember which it was (7 or 8?) but I left the movie theater when they were in the artic chasing a submarine. On a side note: I won't even watch Hobbs and Shaw
