I like to disassemble things.
He should have been in touch with the yard and requested that due to the lengthy hold that he'd like to see your car moved as soon as the yard is allowed to. Your dealer wouldn't get "any updated information" from Ford and if he isn't close with anybody at the railyard/transport company it's radio silence on his end. All he will get is an email or call to say a carrier has been dispatched. So to move things along, he needs to be on the phone pressuring them to move when they can and get that car to him.

Meanwhile in unscheduled material hold land I have my dealer locating a GT350R.
If the right deal is found I’m out. 6 months waiting for a vin and scheduled build is not what I signed up for.

Hi Robert,
I can understand your frustration with waiting but the GT500 will be worth the wait. I ordered my car back in July of last year and still sitting as unscheduled clean but the GT500 is so much more car than the GT350R is. Production in the spring will be faster than what we saw with the GT500s in the fall. Having a GT350R four to six months earlier than getting the GT500 you really want won't be worth it in the long run.

I agree with this. Unless you can afford both (which I wish I could), it is worth it to wait, especially if you’ve secured a stable deal. There are many people looking for a deal that’s unavailable now and the 2021 lists will fill up as well.

My head just isn’t in to it anymore, actually kinda exited by a 350 with the manual at this point. It’s also gonna free up $20,000 to put towards a new Bronco for the Mrs when they come out. I’m not arguing how good the 500 is but I almost bought a 350r last month and held of till this month due to being told it would be a whole different story. Well it’s not and I’m just ready to move on. I wish y’all the best with your new toys:rockon:

Hi All,

Very happy to see that a bunch of member cars are heading home. I envy you guys that are able to drive yours in the warm weather states right now. It's killing me not to take the cover off and warm the tires up a bit, but such is Michigan this time of year. Here's a couple more views of my build taken at a little lower camera angle.

If they drop it off at 0-dark-thirty, have the transport driver take some pictures of the car on the trailer and off.
