  2. 2020 & 2021 Shelby GT500 Recall 22E08!

@kilobravo KB how are you sir! Hope all is well. How has life been treating you these past few years? I haven't been on these boards for quite a while. The GT500 has been amazing and I'm extremely happy I bought this beast. Been in storage for the past 3 months though because of the weather...

@Goose17 Tim - thanks for the great video. I still need to do my recall upgrade. Have you come across any other issues since you made this video and have you noticed any specific performance improvements. Jeff

  6. TSB for GT500 / GT350 secondary timing chain tensioner [Service Guide attached]

@Tomster Were the mirrors you bought on Amazon able to get by the inner part of the oil filler tube, or did you have to remove the long plastic filler cylinder as well. Would rather not remove that if I don't have to/ I have an unfortunate penchant for snapping things off when brute forcing. :curse:

Sorry I was driving and couldn't snap a photo at the time. Unfortunately I have already put my GT500 in storage as of a month ago.
  9. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Gents, I think someone is going to have a very happy Christmas soon. Passed a truck hauling three GT500's just outside my hometown near Ann Arbor heading westbound on I-94 about an hour and a half ago. One Grabber Lime, One Velocity Blue (possibly FP Blue), was a lighter blue shade, and One...

  11. 2020 GT500 PCM and TCM Updated Calibrations from Ford?

Wow! This is great news. Thanks to all of you for doing a lot of the leg work on this. Would one of you be able to run my profile to see if my car is running the old software and is in need of updating please? Let me know if I can PM one of you with my VIN.
  12. Hurricane Laura: A car purchase like no other

John, Congrats and one helluva story to tell. Beautiful car, enjoy. Just passed 3800 miles on mine and I giggle like a little kid every time I fire her up and tool on down the local roads. Been 5 months of road duty and still get 2 or 3 thumbs up every time I take her out. There are a lot more...
  13. Jaeger Brothers Looking for a 2020 GT500

Kent, Valid concerns you've mentioned, but just from my experience with these prototypes, I learned it's quite easy with some constant effort (force) to slide the rubber strip off when I clean my car. The push pin keeps the flap attached to the wheel well when cleaning and I just push the...
  14. Jaeger Brothers Looking for a 2020 GT500

Hi Tom, I've been testing the second prototype for a couple weeks now and they are working awesome so far. Jason's molding supplier for 15 years, discontinued the molding material and failed to inform them, so they were just recently able to possibly secure another supplier. I will be stopping...
  15. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Stephen, Trust me, you will really love the Kona Blue.
  16. Jaeger Brothers Looking for a 2020 GT500

Hi Earl, Jason and I are working on a second prototype at the moment. The first one would get just a little loose at the bottom as there isn't much to grab onto inside the wheel well on the bottom skirt and the bottom of the flap would kick in or out a tad if the flap clasp lost its grip on the...
  17. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

    Earl, Jaime, Thanks again.
  18. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Thanks Earl. So that top right hand quick connect hose is for air delivery only back to the throttle body?
  19. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Jaime, thank you, that was really helpful. I think I am good. It looks like the oil comes out just behind the throttle body, goes into the can and then drains out the smaller hose at the bottom of the can into the cam cover. Look correct to you?
  20. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

@Snoopy49 , Earl, how often should I be checking and or emptying the dealer installed factory oil catch can on this beast? Just check when change the oil if not tracking the car? Is the oil spent that gets spilled into the can bad at that point or can it be reused/recycled into the car rather...
