From speaking with Mishimoto, the 15-17 kit does fit with a small adjustment. However if you have an auto, you should be placing it down below at the bottom grill. I believe there was a guy in the road race forum that did this because in the stock location it was messing with his trans cooler.

I have one for sale btw if you're interested in saving some money new.
Is this still for sale?

Hi i track my 18.
So.
The mishi oil cooler for the 17 works on the 18 with some adaptation.
It goesnin the upper grille. Usually u have 4 bolts holding the metal support but inntheb18 u put only 2.
One of the hose could be longer then you need sonu might need to cut it.
BUT
IF YOU HAVE A 10SPEED DON'T PUT THE OIL COOLER ON THE UPPER GRILLE. It will stop the airflow to the trans cooler( located on the upper grille behind AC)
Unfortunately i lost a trans for overheating.
Attached the latest setup.
1. Mishi bigger radiator.
2. Oil cooler lower grille
3. Trans cooler upper grille
4. All ducted
5. A water spray system to spray the cooler.

2 considerations

Our car tends 2overheat. It is not meamt for the track. So you might need to work hard.
Remember that oil gauge is a CALCULATED TEMP. Not a real gauge. You might want to consider an oil temp sensor to attach to the sandwich plate.
Feel free to ask anything.

Is the ducting 100% necessary? Im about to pick up a 15-17 oil cooler, did you have to fab up mounts? Do you remember the sizes of the hoses and the lengths?
Thanks

You have a 10 speed or not?
If you have a 10speed and you will use the lower grille then yes. However i got fancy. But you can use somenthing easier. There are 2 holes in the crash bar you can use to anchor support.
If you dont have the 10speed then mishimoto has a frame/plate that goes on top where to anchor the cooler.
For the ducting. It all depends. The faster you go the hotter it gets :)
Give you an example.
Chuckwalla 90f.
Normal oil temp was 285f
After ducting 260f
Ductimg plus water spray 240f

Last if you have a manual pick a bigger oil cooler. Setrab or derale are great stuff
I used -10AN tubes.
Hope this help

Yes I am a 10 speed car. I meant how long are the tubes since you had to trim them down. Are those supports custom??

Only one hose. I cut probably between 1- 2 feet. It was more than a year ago.
Check my IG. I have many pictures there of all the works i do in my garage.
An head up you might need a bigger trans cooler too..
The supports are alluminium made by specfab. However you can go way simpler.
Feel free to contact me on IG too.

Somehow that gauge disappear like magic in some 2018 models... several posts about it in the forums. Some say an update may fix it, but havent gotten anything from Ford. You can see other useless things like vacuum... o_O
Thanks for the link!
Hi. Do you run the MMR/Nemesis oil cooler set up? How do you think its rates against others like Mishimoto?
Thank You
