Should I keep my muffler delete and x-pipe? Or upgrade?

Hey y’all,

So I have an x-pipe (no brand from the muffler shop) and a muffler delete on my ‘18 GT. It sounds great and is definitely loud. However, I feel like I’m missing out compared to Roush Axlebacks for example.
I have drone, it’s bearable for the most part, but it’s definitely there lol. The overall sound is not as deep as I want, definitely raspy and no real pops or crackles sadly. Will having Roush Axlebacks help eliminate the drone? Also, would replacing the no brand x-pipe with a Roush one be better?
Or am I overthinking this and should just save my money and keep my current setup?

add some 12" resonators into the exhaust. The Roush AB will still be raspy. I had SLP LM2's which are similar.

If the pipe diameter is good and the shop did a good job (bends, transitions, etc) then save your money. To get a deeper sound you’ll have to add mufflers. Personally I want my exhaust geared towards performance, how it sounds is not very high on my list.

I can't deny the Borla sound, lol. Equally happy with mine, got a good deal on them. Lots of compliments, mostly it sounds different than the 'mostly' Corsa mustangs in my area.

I've had both and enjoyed both. Different sounds but great in their own way. Corsa has the best top end (5k rpm+) sound without question. Borla is better everywhere else, IMO.

The 18’s are way louder stock than any other year mustang GT. I had a 14 with off road x midpipe and bullet mufflers. Do not need that kind of attention quite frankly. On my 18, I went the opposite direction of most with the Flowmaster AT true axle back with super 44’s on stock resonator. Perfect imo, and finally have the more old school tone (deeper rumble) instead of the higher pitched blatty/tinny sound. Lot’s of complements if that is what your looking for. Jmo.

MBRP black tipped muffler delete here w h pipe and Pype's long tubes, no cats. I say stand firm, unless you really like to spend money because all these cat back's and axle back's are stupid expensive! Plus with a 12:1 compression 3rd gen coyote no mufflers means a lot less back pressure which means more power. I love the way mine sounds, it sounds so exotic plus it really pisses old people off at car shows. I had one guy yell out "is that loud enough?" (I still barely heard him though) as I fired mine up (cold start, sat there for hours) leaving a show last summer and I just smiled at him and waved as I putted out of the lot. Felt like hopping out of the car and yelling back at him "no. it really can't but luckily I live in America" but I didn't. LOL

Pops and crackles come from the tune. On the stock tune I have none, on my normal PBD 93 and e85 tunes tune i have some, on my PBD crackle tunes its insane lol. I have cutouts and the stock resonator and I love it. Cant imagine how insane the crackle tune would be with longtubes and no resonator.
