I'm suspecting the release of the C8 has caused another go at the tuning and such, to squeeze out more performance so it will have better reviews. Just snowballing, but SOMETHING is happening here.

I have been notified by members on the list of changes they received today. One member reported his has been changed to 12/02.
It looks like the plant will close for 11/5, 11/11, 11/21 & 11/22 and Christmas & New Year from 12/24 to 01/01 and return to work on 01/02. Assuming there isn't a change with the new UAW contract.

If I can’t get my car by mid November I don’t even want it until April. Just going to have to pay to store and insure it. They sure were fast when they took my 10 grand deposit in July.

Mine is a Base in TO with Handling Pkg and Recaros. Nothing too complicated. VIN = 0195. Now week of: 12/2.

As I understand the process, once the build starts at FRAP, it only take a few hours (maybe over 2 shifts at most). Its the stripes, and other activities that take more time (measured in days).

Also, from what I know, FP is not at FRAP. FRAP decides when cars are built. When you contact FP, they are simply looking up the VVR that your dealer can see. FP has little input on what cars are built and in what order.
I also note from my detailed VVR that all my updates/changes occurred on Saturday afternoon. Not sure why that is....
So these delays are coming from FRAP.
