I have made my purchase! This car is a marvel. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MENTIONING ABOUT THE 301A OPTION! I would have missed that and had no idea about it. OTD $36,850 (including $850 gap insurance) and I used my bank's financing. Is this a good deal?
Good negotiating!
That kind of deal you may want to consider canceling the gap

Here is a first mod for you. These sound amazing.

Sounds like a cool mod! Kindly send me more details on this mod, please. By doing mods, will it void the factory warranty?

Thanks! To be really honest, I suck at the negotiating table, I went to the dealer with the lowest price in Autotrader, thanks to Autotrader! Is it too late to cancel GAP? I have driven the car home already and it has been 7 days.

There is no arguing that engines can go bad that being said you will hear a normal engine tick with the high pressure DI pumps. The engine tick you hear with a Mustang isn't as bad as something such as a Corvette.

If the car was totalled by the insurance company, could you afford to pay the difference between their payout and the unpaid balance of the loan?

If not, keep the GAP insurance.

Not trying to come across as judgmental or anything.

GAP at 850 is an outrageous price.
At that price you Basically already paid the difference in a settlement for a claim you will likely never have.
It can be added to many auto insurance policy’s for sooo much less.
Not knowing what was put down or traded or deductible he may never be upside down...
If padding the dealers pocket with an extra 700 bucks is cool ...do it
You can cancel your gap anytime & they will refund you

No way, I can't afford the diff. I really had no idea how to shop for a good gap insurance. My insurance company (progressive) only offers 25% of GAP.

I put $0 down. My insurance company (Progressive) only offers 25% GAP. There is not much consensus online about who offers the best GAP insurance and most just take the stealership's word.

I haven't had a tick in a long time. It's just a normal characteristic, I truly believe that. Even if there is a tick, as long as your car is performing fine and there are no issues with oil (high consumption, metal shavings), then there is really no worry.

It is awesome. It’s what sold me on the car. It’s the best transmission I have ever driven.

You want at least a 301a car to get drive modes. Sport+ is what I use most of the time. Downshifts are great.
I like Sport+ for the downshifts but I've found that my tranny can nearly overheat when I use it around town/a lot of shifting.
