Drive Mode default setting

I recently purchased a used 2017 GT350. It will not be a daily driver and I prefer sport mode for drive, exhaust and steering. Reviewing the manual it does appear there is a capability to set this as the default mod. It reverts back to normal every time the car is shut down. Am I correct to assume there is no override of the factory default?

I hope so! I would like to just leave it in "Sport" mode also.

You are correct - it always starts in "normal" mode.

There are two parts to the answer.

First, you can set the steering to Sport and it'll stay that way until you change it, regardless of shut down and start up.

Second, everything else - suspension, chassis (ABS and AdvanceTrak) and exhaust mode all reset to normal when you shut down. I'm not aware that anyone has ever found a workaround for this behavior.
