How many members are having this issue?

Its been about a month now and when I start my Shelby up and try to select sport mode and or any other mode at that It pops up with the malfunction window on the tech about 99% of the time.

Common issue or am I the lucky one?

Thanks in advance ladies and gents.

1 month and you haven't visited the dealer?

It could either be an underlying hardware problem (like magnaride sensor etc) or an electronical problem.

1) Is it in Reverse?
2) Are either of the exhaust flaps blocked (e.g. with a rock or something, perhaps)?

Those are the usual culprits.
Nope its in Neutral and or I place her into 1st.

No sir open and clean. shes maintained very well and roads here are decent asphalt so no real pebbles or rocks around to be driven on.

Yes sir I drive her maybe once or twice a week at most so 1 month that's max 8 times I have driven here. Work swamps me 99% of my day so haven't had enough time to take her in just yet.

Already called this morning to my local dealer to setup a appt time to take her in.

Do you have a code reader?

If it were me, and I want to give you word of caution here so do this at your own risk, I would disconnect the battery and reset the car for good. If the car has no faults stored that you can read from a code reader, this may help fix the problem.

I would also visually inspect the magnaride and make sure nothing is leaking. If its a hardware problem, its most likely suspension related. If you have access to ramps, see if you can see under the rear suspension. Do not get under the car using a jack.

The shop I work for doesn't have a code reader but my buddy does Ill plug it in and see if I get any codes. I had her up on the lift about 2 weeks ago to show my buddy her belly and didnt see any leaks or issues on the magnaride, but I'll recheck.

Ive done a hard reset like that before on other cars, but for this case I will most likely let the dealership handle it since shes 3 months old at this point and its all under warranty and all.

Just sounds like im the lucky guy to have this issue :frusty:

When you get the error message, have you tried switching just the exhaust from normal to sport?

This could also be the vacuum solenoid for the exhaust valve. This was a common problem in old Porsches.
:frusty::frusty:

Please research your car before trying to pass off your previous knowledge

The GT350 valves are electric, not at all tied to the vacuum system

Ya with the switch I can easily do so, however driver select mode switch on the steering wheel I cannot get into sport, track, drag, weather etc.

The usual suspects have been covered here. Since it's not those, you should have a DTC somewhere on the CAN bus that will tell you why.

I had the problem once a few months ago. Checked and found loose battery cable and loose fuses. Not sure if that was the cause, but it hasn't done it since.

Thank you everyone, I have my apt set with the local dealer I will be keeping everyone posted. Hopefully its a quick fix so I can have her back home instead of sitting there for too long.
