I picked up my car Sunday love the dash so far. When driving home from the dealer I know I saw a fuel economy (average or real time) in the dash when I was messing with it. I can't get it back now.. losing my mind. Any ideas?

The 401 digital dash must be configurable in forscan to show oil temps ..,,shouldn't it?
Anyone played with the digital dash in forscan yet?

Iā€™ve been all over the place with forscan in the IPC. You wonā€™t get oil temps on the dash unless itā€™s already there from an earlier version firmware.

Since you have a PP model your best bet is to add the GT350 center gauge cluster that has oil temp. Just know that both the digital gauge and the GT350 gauge are not ā€˜trueā€™ temperature gauges and are formulated. Doesnā€™t mean itā€™s not good; just not truly accurate. Only a dedicated gauge will get you that.

Thanks
Seems crazy especially when the F150 crowd can do it and even have actual temp numbers above the swept gauge

Your as built profile matches latter versions or does the firmware change as well during a model year?

My as-built matches current versions based on features. Firmware can change any time the manufacturer wants.

Do oems publish firmware changes?
Been looking at my car and do not see an oil temp sensor yet. I think it was mentioned before that those who have a gauge the source of data isnā€™t actually the true oil temp.
So...as you said ....get a mechanical gauge
Anyone know the head temp value vs oil temp value or coolant temp value vs oil temp conversion rate?
Looking at this brand...

Anyone have measurable success with this kit?
