The GT500 starts at $73k and goes up to $97k with everything (CFTP & Painted Stripes, etc.). Dealers should have this info by tomorrow. Public announcement next week.

Sounds right. I was told a loaded base would be $80 and a CFTP car would be $95.

If that info is actually accurate its alot lower than I was told and also I would say its a bargain to be honest with you.
It may be a bargain but I don’t have your money. Haha.

$24,000 in options. Wow.
I was knocking around on Dodge sites recently and there was a Hellcat with $22K in options!

So it probably breaks down something like this:

$14K CFTP
$4K Standard misc Mustang options like S&S, B&O audio, maybe even the 401a equivalent will be an option on the base car **
$6K Painted stripes

Still assuming the handling Package is around $4K-5K, so an upgraded base (but not CFTP), no stripes, most standard options will be ~$82K.

Holy f***, that means the CFTP + ADM @ $30K, is close to $125K, that's a pretty steep entry point, and when you cross $125K, I think buyers in that demographic would start cross shopping 911TT, etc.

** Thought they may go more loaded GT as base, but maybe not, like for $73K you'd get the 401a, and the only options would be B&O, Smart/Safe.

Dodge is even worse with tons of options.

The base Hellcat is way more peasant then it was in 2015.

The black top package for the Hellcats is $3500 dollars. It is a utter and complete ripoff.
So is the $6,000 wide body package.
Think about it. $6,000 for about an inch wider wheels and tires and a set of flares.

I like them but some of the options are a joke.

Yeah, I was shocked, I thought it was a Redeye, but nope. Yeah, I said in another thread they backed out a decent amount of content for the base HC to get that $58K entry price, but add some safety features, the automatic, a few convenience features, upgrade the interior, *boom* you're looking at $74K, add the widebody for $6000 ...

I may have to (settle) for a base car.

I don’t think I can afford a $90,000 car.

You’re not settling for the “base” car. It’s the one I’m going for as well.
