How do these compare to prior years base model susp? People keep saying they are similar to 15-17 PP rates but i have yet to confirm. Anyone?

How do these compare to prior years base model susp? People keep saying they are similar to 15-17 PP rates but i have yet to confirm. Anyone?
By all accounts, better than the 15-17 base, but still too soft and lacking damping for adequate control. I do know that the rears are now monotubes like the PP rears of 15-17 were.

Hmmmm, gd info. I thought the rear felt pretty good compared to the 17's on a test drive. The susp does feel more precise.

Yeah they've definitely made improvements, though still a bit too soft and wallowy to be close to a performance car, though. Not everyone wants that, though. When it comes to ride quality, slightly firmer, but with superb control/poise >> soft and cushy, in my book.
