I don't believe there is anything negatively impacting to your professional image by owning a Grabber Blue Mustang. If you have experienced a problem, then the problem doesn't lie with the owner but the person who is "judging".

"The drivers of these cars are said to be reliable and trustworthy. 'Blue makes you think of the sea and clear skies, which is probably why everyone loves this colour,' says Wright. 'On cars it is the choice of people who are quiet and very wary of all the hysteria around them. 'Blue is not an emotional colour. It is for people who are intellectual, sensible and like to think things through.' " - Actual Study on car color psychology by an expert that works with Ford

Where can I read that study?

YELLOW (0.4%) Owners of yellow cars are young or young at heart and have a good sense of humour. Perhaps this explains why it is the colour of the Fiat Cinquecento in youth sitcom The Inbetweeners. “Yellow is the colour of the ego, optimism and self-confidence,” says Wright. “It is the car colour of lively, fun people who want to be seen and don’t really care what others think.”

Look at a Mexico Blue Porsche 911. It really grabs you.

I just picked up a Grabber blue GT350 for my daily driver. I was worried about it being a bit of a "loud" color but the alternative would have been a Porsche 911 with a GT3 wing and martini racing stripes, so... LOL

Ever since this one I have loved the Grabber Blue. This was the wife's 2010 GT. If the '18 run would have had GB, I would have pushed hard for one.

In 1970, I wanted a Mach 1 in Grabber Blue but my dad bought me a Yellow Maverick w/a 302.

I went back and forth over this '17 in Grabber Blue and a new 2014 in the same color.
Was going for a Shadow Black GT if I didn't get the price I wanted on the Blue.

As I stated in another thread, I don't like this body style. I like the '14.
I just couldn't see paying nearly the same for a '14 that I could buy a '17 for............
This is exactly why I bought my 17 Grabber Blue.

Add some customized Oakley's too and you're set! (Did not mean to color match with the car)

Custom Flak 2.0. They were custom from their site.

Quite frankly, I wish Ford would offer ALL the old Grabber colors......and keep the option available for entire model runs, rather than the odd year or two.

Grabber Blue
Grabber Orange
Grabber Yellow
Grabber Green
Grabber Lime

I'm actually glad that Ford only offers it up every few years.. saves from seeing too many of them out there. Maybe that's their game plan all along?

I emailed for for production #'s.

On a more earthy note, by far the most popular colour for 70's & 80's vehicles was brown. My buddy has a 79 Vette in brown, he says its called root beer. I said Scott, it's the same colour as my fence post buddy lol.
...it still sounds better to be called; 'fence post Brown' rather than 'Piss Burnt Brown'
Just sayin'..............
