Well hmm, 700hp supercharger from Ford/Roush that will fit my GT and not void the warranty. Hmm

Updated with article from Autoblog:

2018-2019 Ford Mustang GT finally gets the official Ford supercharger
700 horsepower with a warranty

Back in 2017, Ford Performance announced it would have a supercharger kit available for the refreshed 2018 Ford Mustang GT. It promised 700 horsepower and 610 pound-feet of torque, and was due in early 2018, but nothing came of it. Thankfully, it seems to have simply been delayed, because the supercharger system is now on sale and available for not just 2018, but 2019 Mustang GTs, too.

The kit for these latest Mustangs delivers on the 700 horsepower with a 2.65-liter TVS positive displacement supercharger that delivers 12 psi of boosted air to the engine, along with new fuel rails, injectors, an air-to-water intercooler and a bigger throttle body. Impressively, the kit is emissions compliant in all 50 states.

All this can be yours for $7,699. That's just for the kit alone, which you can install yourself. But if you want the 3-year/36,000-mile warrantyon the parts in the kit, you'll have to have it installed by a Ford dealer or ASE-certified technician, which will surely add some labor cost. Also, this supercharger system is only compatible with normal Mustang GTs, not the Bullitt edition Mustang.

I will probably end up getting a Whipple anyway. The warranty is nice though.

Says 700/610 on 91.

The Ford Performance Supercharger Kit is warranty friendly and rated at 700 horsepower. This new kit has been developed specifically for the new 5.0L V8 that features dual-fuel, high-pressure direct injection and low-pressure port fuel injection technology for increased power and efficiency.

  • Fits 2018-2019 Mustang GT with manual or automatic transmission
  • Produces 700 HP and 610 lb-ft of torque at approximately 12 psi of boost with 91 octane fuel
  • Kit comes complete with all hardware for installation
  • Exclusive calibration 50 state emissions legal
  • NOT compatible with the BULLITT® edition Mustang

Those numbers are based on crank horsepower. You have to take in account for the drivetrain loss which is roughly 12-15% (heard different numbers so I did an estimate). Angry50 stated wheel horsepower, which is the amount that your car will put to the ground.

yes the roush tune is going to be soft. NA e85 cars will probably give you a hard time, especially if manual. Like i said depends on goals. if a warranty is number 1 for you then it would be best to leave it alone

600 to 625 whp considering the Roush tune (conservative and flaky) with little room for growth. If you want a quick car with warranty this is a good path. I sill have the original Supercharger on mine but everything else has been replaced which does void any warranty.

He has 18.. might still be too early to tell but this seems to be limited potential according to some tuners. so if plan to upgrade it seems its not worth it.. a lot of people going whipple stage 1 as they offer a warranty.

Not surprising. I’ve moved away from everything but the supercharger. VMP tune now. Whipple has done a great job with their stuff. Likely a better choice.

I am getting the ford supercharger on my car which I ordered last week. They have a new tune which supposedly ups the HP and some trans tuning.

Won't find out till May.

i seen some posts about the changes an aftermarket tune will still yield more power and faster times. from what i have seen the heat exchanger and the inlet are limiting factors if you decide to make more power.
