2018 GT non PP 1/4 mile time question

Read that this car does the 1/4 mile in 12.6 where as the auto can do it in 11.8 or 11.9 bone stock

What mods would have to be added to get this car running up to par of a bone stock auto N/A of course.

The problem for you is the 10 speed auto shifts at 7500 and only drops to near 6000 when it hits the next gear. It also shifts very fast. You would have to go to lower gears (higher numerical) to keep the revs up unless you start modding away from stock.

Seriously, anything else is likely going to be a waste of time and money.

Logging the drop rpm wise w/ 3.55 gears is 7500 to 6500 range wot shifts. Just lovely. No way to duplicate actual power-shifting consistently with manual over and over non-stop... .

i have had some fast manual cars capable of -10.30 136mph and a 9.90 141mph .lets say getting them to run the ET was very difficult . I have gone consistently faster ETs in my stock auto Hellcat than those 2 cars ..and as for the new 10 speed A10 with 3.55 gear This car is such a blast to drive 800rpm shift extension and sounds fantastic at high rpm ,I really feel bad for manual owners if ever a car to buy in an Automatic This is the car .the motor and trans are a 1-2 punch together-You just can't drive a stock stick even a basic bolt on one with consistency to the Times of these cars

You really need the A10 if you're trying to go fast. PP or non-PP doesn't really matter since we've seen a couple of non-PP guys with autos run in the 11's stock. With that said, the 3.55 gears do help.

theres a lot more to PP than gears for my taste -slightly stiffer suspension ,radiator ,sub frame ,shock tower ,brakes,wheels and tires ..wing
as for me I'm looking at a set of 4.08gears

Great Gear Box i was 1 of the first 3 people to do the conversion years ago when it first came out -I had a T56 magnum xl 2.97 first gear carbon fiber D/S set up in my built shelby GT it made 735@8200

It a rare even that bone stock 18/19's with the 10r80 go into the 11's without a damn good DA. Mine has gone 12.0 with a 2500 DA which makes sense unless you're in Florida where those rat bastards get low DA a lot through the year, often into the negatives. While at either Byron, IL or GLD Wisconsin I have raced stock 6spd manual 18's and a few with CAI/Tune and beat them consistently by half a second. I haven't seen many manuals go 12.6 although it would be awesome if they did but this was at the track of course, newer Mustang's seem to take a few years to see in any numbers at the dragstrip.

ok well i guess between a fast track and my skill i get the most out of my cars ...i also had a 15 A8 scatpack just nittos 275/40/20 11.77 116mph
Stone stock hellcat on all seasons 11.1 127mph 7.3 99mph 1/8 ---------and actually the 16 camaro had drag radials no mods
