What do you guys think? Will the new magnesium STB allow the room required to run the CJ manifold in the voodoo without additional motor mounts or lowering the engine in anyway??

Ever since they showed the gt500 hood i wondered if it will fit the 350 and if it does i hope it can clear the cj manifold without needing to lower the engine

Body panels are new from the A forward on the GT500.

It'll be a tossup to see if the new hood matches up properly to the GT350 front bumper and fenders.

I know the fenders are new but I’m hoping that’s just for the width. If the GT500 hood fits our cars and the CJ manifold fits, that’d be amazeballs.

He said everything from the A-pillars forward is new for the GT500 so it is unlikely it will be a direct fit for the GT350.
They said the same thing about the GT350 as compared to the typical Mustang.
Maybe the GT350 and GT500 are new in the same way?

Aprons have not moved and the 500 uses the exact same radiator support. The hood fenders and bumper should fit but probably not as straight forward as some may think. Most likely needing additional hardware and modification for 350 coolers etc. Additionally, you will need to replace all for proper fitment as the hood alone will not work with the 350 fenders IMO.

Why would you add the 500 front end on a GT350? You would be inducing more drag and under hood air pressure. I want the GT4 hood and that's it! when it drops in price :cwl:

No idea why someone would want the whole front end. The hood was all I'm semi-interested in.

As far as the GT4 hood is concerned, that's the dream right there. That price is going to have to plummet though.

I threw this quick comparison together of my car and one of the GT500 press release pics, I think it should work if the radiator support is carried over from the GT350. All of the hood lines look dang close to me.

Just as an FYI: I will also add that ZL1 Addons is making some outer aero pieces for the front bumper that mimic the GT500’s that will fit regular GT’s as well as GT350’s....
