Yes but I had to pay the MSRP difference. They do a substitution of collateral so my current financing stays the same. I paid cash for the price difference between the 2. This one had the active exhaust, 355s and black out package that I am so glad I have as the wheels on the LB were hideous, the power down low was terrible and the active exhaust is pretty cool. If I wanted a buy back they give you all your money back after they pay off the loan including the payments you made minus any mileage you used. NJ lemon law is 20 days out of service so it was not that bad in my case. The ruby red car in the pic came in at the same time for the same issue. We both got buy backs/replacements.
The Ruby Red is a PP2.

Kona is a much nicer color in my opinion. The 355 gears will help on the launch. You did good and so did Ford by treating you right.

I am surprised you gave ford a second chance -good luck with your new car. I have an 18 PP with active exhaust and 301a 3.55 gear A10 in Royal crimson ..i has 750 miles on it as I'm afraid to drive it due to the tick .its quiet as of this point but i am thinking I'm just going to wait until march to trade it in on something else maybe a Alfa romeo giullia qudrafoglio or the Stelvio Quad ..I really like this car too i think its a real looker and love how it sounds in the high revs but hate wondering if i will have troubles after warrantee and don't need big repair bills for a fairly new vehicle not to mention i really want to mod this car with a vortech E85 and long tubes ..and that just is not going to happen if i can't trust this car is not going to end up with the issues some are having .

Pretty sure your current Mustang will be more reliable than both of the cars you mentioned.

I detect a hint of irrationality, or you are joking. I'm guessing you paid around $50K give or take a few K for the Mustang. You propose trading in on a something that costs $25K or $30K more, citing potential troubles after warranty, implying repair costs matter to you. So, you'll take a $10K+ depreciation hit (low miles don't matter - still 1 year old and previously titled) and then pay another $25K+ . So, you're at $35K+ more out of pocket to avoid out of warranty 2018 Mustang repair costs. Hmmmmm, I think $35K would cover a lot of repair costs.

Hope you have luck with the 19! I went the other route. I choose a refund instead. After 3 months of back and forth with Ford and the dealer. I wasn't ready to give the gen 3 another chance. Hopefully it works out for you though. I loved my 18.

I was really close to doing the same but I decided to give it another shot as I've had 30+ Mustangs and this is the only one that has had an issue.

I had a 17GT with a VMP blower that I went 9s with and I stupidly got rid of it for a gt350 and then got rid of that for the 18GT.

Lesson learned I guess. Hope this one ends up being ok and can handle boost because I plan on going 9s again.

I Paid 41k OTD on a 46k sticker and was offered 38600 today on trade in on and Audi RS3 so i may actually do it this week not a terrible deal ....i have never taken a bath on my trade ins or my purchases .i got my 17 hellcat for 63k OTD 71k sticker they bought my scat pack for 35400 .so if you let a dealer hammer you for 10k on a new car trade in shame on you .
