Finally got the car on a dyno.
423 whp SAE
18 manifold (not ported)
AED 93 octane tune
GT350 CAI
Corsa catback, stock headers and cats
Nice! Obviously no Cobra Jet but it's still making good power through 7500 instead of nosediving like the stock manifold does. Mine probably puts down around the same given that our mods are very similar. That graph definitely validates my butt dyno and all of those 7800 RPM shifts I've been doing.

That will be my combo except adding Long tubes, different catback and Lund tune.

I'd guess another 15-20 hp from the headers?

How does it feel?
Yeah somewhere around there.

Feels fantastic. I've had this on for 3 months and I haven't tired of it or grown used to it. The power delivery is just great fun. Over 400 whp from 5750 on up!

I know this is an S550 forum, but all the S197 forums seem to have died off.

Anyone have any information, or know where to find information on how to install an 18 manifold on a 2011, and what type of power I should expect to make? Right now I'm N/A full bolt on making 437/370 (I lost a bit of torque due to that damn Boss 302 intake, and it's gutless below 3k RPMs and its driving me crazy).

There's actually a thread on SVT Performance regarding install on S197. You can check it out here -

I got my '18 IM in and will be installing and having custom tune done next week. Very excited. Will be running '18 IM, GT350 Throttle Body, Roush CAI with venturi tube delete, Flowmaster Scavenger resonator delete x-pipe, Flowmaster Outlaw axle back. Ill post Numbers and dyno sheets after.

Hopefully your tuner knows that throttle body. Even with one of the very best in the business tuning it and having the tables for it, (Shaun Perry, AED), it has much poorer drivability and idle quality compared with the stock one. I tried it for a few weeks but didn't like it at all. I'd stick with stock.

EDIT: Disregard, I went a couple pages back and saw the conversation about this.

Looks great, did you lock out the IMRC’s. I’m hearing things have changed a bit and they are getting them tuned better with the IMRC’s. Last time I talked to LUND they suggested to lock them out.

Silly question, but is anyone getting false knock with this manifold?

My car is seeing a minimal amount of knock (around 1 degree positive knock) on WOT pulls. Also, on these pulls, sometimes the knock will not consecutively go negative (i.e. 0.00 to -6.00 on a pull). It will float around the same number in the negative (i.e. -1.00) on the pull.

Got the car back today. 18 IM on, with GT350 throttle body, Roush CAI without inner Venturi tube, flowmaster scavenger x-pipe, Flowmaster outlaw axle back. Stock cats. Car is running great, obvious increase in throttle response, and power. Will post dyno sheet later.
Car made 413 WHP and 354 rear torque. This was on a mustang dyno. Was hoping for more, but the tuner who is the best there is in this area said that was really good power for his dyno. Very happy with how the car feels. Pulls like an animal now.
