Here is an update guys.... Starting to get better in the car. I have been getting better 60fts than this pass, but I'm starting to show progress. The MPH is starting to climb....

I am so jealous . I debated driving up to Edgewater in my KB car to take a stab at that 9.

I decided to go to us 41 which was supposed to be open ...

Took the Hellion car (to try and run 8’s) and the 18(to try for 9’s)with a friend and was to have been joined by a couple others who would drive the whipped Shelby and the KB car .
I spent the night loading all my drag wheels and tires in to the cars as I wanted to have all options available
Got there right before noon when they were supposed to open ...... and they were closed

Those are same as you have, Hoosier 28x10. I have the shift light set at 7300 and try to get it shifted by 8000!lol

Not a power shift now... just a quick one. The car revs to quick.

We have plans for both... just working out pricing at the moment.

How low are you running the tire pressure ?
Are you leaving off the 2 step and how high.
Any sway ?

I have to wait till next year but plan to focus on getting some seat time/getting that 9 under my belt (also will be trying for 10’s in the GT 350 ) before even looking at the other auto cars (they don’t need much practice . Lol)

Plan to get the car on a dyno and will see if I have enough injector(1300) to pulley down to a 3.25 pulley with the 20% OD .

Made low to mid 900’s with the 3.5 pulley(19-20 psi) so will need that 3.25 pulley fombe close to 1000 rwhp /150+ traps .

Don’t think 145-148 mph , which is fastest it had gone is going to be enough (with me doing the shifting - LOL ) —-or at least it will be easier with 150 +

14psi in tires. No two step yet.... We may give it a try soon. I try to leave between 4-5K. Sometimes she sways a little and you have to dance.... lol
