Hey guys,

So I just took the mustang out to the local quarter mile shootout at Lucas Oil Raceway last night. Very impressed with what just a stock 5.0 can do, but I know it has more in her.

Ordering Vertical links and Differential bushings here soon, but my question is can I use something like the BMR Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit with the Steeda Rear Subframe brace?? Some comments are saying I can, some are saying I can't.. Just wanted a more definitive answer before I pull the trigger on these. I already have the Steeda Rear Subframe brace on my car, and car would wheelhop from time to time off the launch.. Really needing to lower my 60FTs to hopefully get into the 12s (6MT car). Any help appreciated! :)

I typically have people focus primarily on reducing IRS Subframe movement and Lower Control Arm deflection. Often times, very often actually, my customers get what they are looking for with just two modifications from BMR. CB005 Lockout kit and BK081 LCA Bearing Kit.

I like to see people work from the wheel, inboard. Save the diff-bushing mods for the end.

As for fitment, we are hoping to release our Ultimate IRS Subframe Bracing system soon that will work with our CB005, CB010 and all other brand IRS bushing modifications.

In the meantime, I think the best product to use in combination with your current braces are the BMR-CB010 which I have attached an image of. These are so popular we recently dropped the already low price of $119.95 down to $99.95! (If you use the code FS6KA on the BMR site it is $93.96 shipped)

Good luck and enjoy!

This will compliment the Steeda subframe braces perfectly!
I can send you a promo code if you like.

Thank you Kelly! Always appreciated.

I actually looked at this specific part on BMR as well. This is the level 1 kit correct? As long as it works with the Steeda IRS brace that I have already, I'm willing to give it a shot.

Will the level 2 kit work with the Steeda IRS braces as well?

Digging up and old thread but has anyone used the BMR level 2 needle lockout with the Steeda braces?
I know there is one bolt in the middle of the Steeda support that’s to be used with the stock subframe support but I don’t think it’s overly important

Hey!
No, our Steeda 555 5754 Mustang Coupe Rear IRS Subframe Support Braces (15-26) will not work at the same time as the BMR LVL 2. It is one or the other.
As you can see from the Images, Our Steeda 555 5754 Mustang Coupe Rear IRS Subframe Support Braces (15-26) provides 5 points of contact vs 2.

Gotcha! Thank you.
I’ll be going back to the original subframe subframe support bracket.
