Thanks for the input; those big guns are out of budget but i can probably stretch for ridetech level 2 hq; you didnt mention that one but if im not mistaken it has a true coilover in the rear as well? Any feedback for that one?
I didn't mention the Ridetech's for several reasons. One being I have no experience with them. The other couple of reasons are just my personal preference. The Ridetech's are made by Fox. Fox makes some great off road shocks. However, I have never seen Fox shocks beings used by racing teams in any type of road racing. So I questions there experience and knowledge when it comes to road racing. I know Ridetech makes great products, but they started out as an airbag manufacture to lower and raise older cars. Then they came out with an airbag type coilover and then a real coilover made by Fox. The only form of racing I haver really ever seen them do is autocross. I just feel they don't have as much experience engineering, building and producing a coilover as the same level as KW, MCS, JRZ and Ohlins etc. We're talking Le Mans and Nurburgring here.

Again I am not taking anything away from Ridetch. These are just my reasons for choosing another brand over theirs. If I were building an older muscle car or something along those lines, I would definitely go with there airbags.

I do see Fortune Auto runs their coilovers in Time Attack and I believe the owner is one of the drivers. They are constantly running their coilovers in road race events etc. Not as the same level as the bigger brands but they are there.

For me I do want a true coilover in the rear, but for what you are looking for with your car I wouldn't let that be a factor in your decision. The only reason I mentioned the MCS was because the pricing is so good for what you get. They might actually be the best bang for the buck, but the Fortune Auto's are too far behind.

Ever thought about getting KW V1 or if you want to cut a bit of cost and don't need stainless steel then ST-X coils are exact same just zinc coated/painted parts with a more basic steel. Right now I am trying to decide between those 2 and the steeda coilovers. I live in Canada and drive year round so that makes me lean to the more expensive KW V1 so they won't rust up on me. Just having some troubles finding people who have the KW V1 on a mustang. The bonus for the steeda for me is being able to adjust dampening which you cannot do on the KW V1 or ST-X.

Personally have heard good things about Ridetechs from people who have them, but Ridetech requires you to drill holes in your frame and use threaded inserts to secure their bracket. I don't want to drill holes in my frame nor do I trust threaded inserts, even if they never ever ever have a problem for anyone. The rear of these cars are NOT provisioned properly for a true coilover in my own assessment. You can make a big bracket all you want for the top mount, you still have a couple small tabs of pressed aluminum to mount the the assembly at the bottom.

I have heard a lot of good things about Fortune. They have bunch of global time attack winner cars. Also bunch of drift cars. I have seen few people at the track with Fortunes. They were happy

I am on the same boat as you. I was thinking about B16 PSS10. I am just waiting (mostly due to $$). Might end up going with Fortune Auto 510s sometime next year
Never seen a serious track car with them.
Drift cars have wonky setups to make them lose traction. So even if they were popular with drifters, it wouldn't mean they we're good. It could mean they were bad (for traction and grip).

No they are not. The strut mount is nickel plated with a stainless radial bearing. Also, the spring height adjuster is aluminum.
