Why does my sticker say "R" if it isn't?

Bought a used 2016 GT350 this weekend and found the window sticker in the glove compartment.

Why does it say GT350R, when it doesn't seem to be a real R?

I believe thats just a registered trade mark. I could be wrong. Some one will chime in with answer.

The R with a circle indicates a registered trademark not an "R" model. Johnny is correct.

I've probably looked at 100 window stickers and I cannot find another GT350 with the trademark. Weird.

Ford has been using the circle R trademark for the GT350 on their website and other outlets ever since the car came out and still uses it at this moment. They probably stopped stamping the Window Labels as such due to the confusion of non-R vs R.

This is actually an argument I had with the Ford dealership I purchased the car from. They listed it as an R. I told them it was not, and they disagreed.
