That line has to stay connected to the 4 port block but you can cap off the line that goes to vacuum 1

It gets vacuum from the intake and intake manifold via that 4 port distribution assembly. It’s not a straight flow through all 4 ports are connected together through one way valves to control air flow.

If we’re locking out the IMRC, is there any wiring or splicing that needs to be done (is it plug and play)?

If using lock outs no electrical connection of IMRC control is required, however a tune adjustment will be required.

Thought everything was working good but then I got a CEL p2006 valve is now stuck closed. The first couple of revs I can see the voltage showing the valves opening and closing. When I did a datalog to higher rpms the voltage stayed at the closed indication and never opened up again. I’m stuck on what to do next. Either I have a leak or lines routed incorrectly. Just fined it weird all was working prior to the big pulls. I went ahead and swapped the three wire pins back from side to side thinking that might be a solution since the code I believe refers to bank 1. So curious if next time I drive if it swaps sides to bank 2. Anybody have a opinion?

probably a dumb question, what is IMRC for? I DD my 16'. Are there benefits to locking it out over splicing/using a plug and play harness? Looking for some more power but reliably.

Helps with cold starts, idle quality, part throttle TQ, and fuel economy..

General manners stuff.

S550MG - How's your configuration holding up after the tune? Any issues with the IMRC's?
