Why am I competing in CAM again??? My god man! Is there another level above CAM for you??? LOL all JKs. Hope you can put Team GM in their place this year. I might have to stop and de-mod the stang to compete in more of a street class. Spent an hour reading all this. Mind blown!!!!
Thought everything was working good but then I got a CEL p2006 valve is now stuck closed. The first couple of revs I can see the voltage showing the valves opening and closing. When I did a datalog to higher rpms the voltage stayed at the closed indication and never opened up again. I’m stuck on...
Ok have pigtails installed. Have the blue plugs spliced together. Now I can’t get rid of the p2005 code. Says the valves stuck open. Voltage shows them open at 3.4 volts. Desired is showing either 0 or 1 which should be the voltage to close. Is this a vacuum issue now? Anybody have a schematic...
So what controls the opening and closing. The blue plugs or grey plugs? I guess I’ll have to get the multimeter out and check for voltage. Idle and reviving the voltage never changed from 3.3-3.4.
So I spliced the two blue connectors and swapped the longer 3 wire connectors from side to side. From looking at the data log in idle to 3500rpm rev the signal from the IMRC was between 3.3-3.4, I believe this is the voltage required on the 18 IM for being open. Question is when do they close...
Currently running the PnP harness and I’m throwing DTCs p2004 and p2008 tune confirmed the correct voltage is set. I have one blue plug connect and the other disconnected. Anything else I should check? Currently waiting on datalog review for any corrections needed.
Yes it don't fit. As of right now I've used heat tape to keep them together. Need to find a big enough hose/tubing to connect the two with some sort of clamps or could also do the drilling and zip ties method. It's a weird irregular shape so it's going to be rough trying to get a perfect seal...
