Suspension setting eating up MT DR.

I have a slight vibration when cruising about 90mph. We was going to clock the driveshaft and noticed that the inside of my drag radials are wearing fast in the inside edges. The outside edges barely touching. I have included the last alignment specs. Wondering if this is normal or these tires too soft not to have 0 camber. I do have adjustable camber arms, but 0 hangs the tires on outside of fender. These are a 19” 325 tire on 11” rim. Could this also cause this vibration?

Those specs look almost perfect for the rear.

Ok.... well I’m going to take it back and make sure nothing has changed. We did pull the diff to do the rear end, but that shouldn’t have changed anything. If all is fine, guess it means the drag radials are to soft for those settings on the street.

Also prob added 100 lbs to nose and 50 in rear with new setup.

Get the alignment checked. Really doesn't take much to change it. The closer to zero camber you can get, the more contact patch you have with the rear tires. I run around with as close to zero I could get with the stock parts.

Drag radials = soft sidewall = -.5 to 0 camber. Very, very wide tire on a rear suspension that doesn't articulate in a particularly fashionable way for that width of tire. You're probably mashing down on the inside of that tire, especially when you launch. Reduce camber as far as you're willing and able to go, is what I'd do.

34 psi on street.

34 cold? That's pretty high. I'd try 30-31 cold at the most for such a wide tire. When you run higher pressure on a wide tire like that, your contact patch gets wide but very short. With even the camber you're running, you'll be putting a lot of pressure on a small area on the inside.

Can you show a picture of the tire wear? The alignment sheet looks great.

I will have to get a picture, didn't take one when it was up on rack.

Could this cause the vibration at 90? Or is it the Driveshaft?

Only if your tires are out of balance. It is probably the driveshaft, there is a reason ford went with a two piece... its not like it is cheaper to make.

I can tell you that the its down to wear bars on inside and on the outside couple of inches, driving through the gravel lot, it doesn't look like it touches much. I will adjust tire pressure also. I really appreciate the insight.

Guess I will have to pull it and have it balance while under there. Chasing my tail lol
